The song We Are Young by Fun starts to play.
NARRATOR
It was supposed to be a fun night...
We see three friends sitting at the cafeteria.
DAVID MILLER
They got a party at Alpha Chi tonight. You gonna be there?
BRENDA JONES
Wouldn't miss it for the world.
NARRATOR
The last party of the year before graduation.
We see Seth greeting Mike with a high five.
SETH DAVIS
Congrats, Mike. So when are you leaving?
MIKE THOMPSON
I start early June.
NARRATOR
It was supposed to be the start of a promising future.
David and Thomas are playing Beer Pong. David sinks the winning shot. Caleb comes by to see what's going on.
CALEB SAMPSON
(to David) I call winner.
DAVID MILLER
Caleb, you're gonna get your ass kicked. (to Thomas) Are you good?
THOMAS ADAMS
Yeah, I'll go upstairs and sleep it off.
NARRATOR
But something happened to change that.
In the hallway, a drunk Thomas bumps into James, a smaller guy who is just about as drunk.
THOMAS ADAMS
Watch your step, jackass!
JAMES TYLER
You watch yours, asshole.
We see Thomas and James fighting. Both of them are bleeding, but James is getting the worst of it.
THOMAS ADAMS
Come on, bull. Time to finish you up.
JAMES TYLER
I'll make sure you wish you weren't ever born.
James charges at Thomas. Thomas gets out of the way, too late realizing that there's a wide open window there. We see James tumbling headfirst out the window landing on the ground a story below with a broken neck. The music stops.
The logos for Wonder Inc. Studios and Bluegrass Productions show up.
We see Beth Meadows ten years later with a divorce client.
MRS. CARTER
When can I hear from you again?
BETH MEADOWS
It won't be until next Tuesday at the earliest. I got a 10 year college reunion to attend.
NARRATOR
On May 18th...
CUSTOMER
What's your name, boy?
THOMAS ADAMS
My name is Thomas, sir. Thomas Adams.
CUSTOMER
So it's you.
The customer takes a rock and throws it, striking Thomas in the head with it.
CUSTOMER
Murderer!
The customer leaves while Thomas is rubbing his head.
THOMAS ADAMS
Why can't these people give me a break? It was 10 years ago! 10 YEARS AGO!

We are at the start of Madison University's 10 Year Reunion. Brenda sees a familiar face.
BRENDA JONES
Julie? Oh my God!
All three greet each other with hugs.
JULIE YU

We are at Seth's dinner table. David is saying grace.
DAVID MILLER

We see Julie walking down the sidewalk late at night when the Masked Stranger appears.

We see Caleb lying in the hospital bed with a wound on his shoulder.

Some freak showed up at the door. He was all in black and was dressed like a catcher.
We see the Masked Stranger in the alley. The Stranger wipes blood from a knife. We fade from the image as the words Reunion flash up on the screen in red.
Then we see the tagline: 10 Years is a Long Time to Wait for Revenge. We see the names of the cast followed by the phrase Directed by John Carpenter.
Fade to black as the music comes to an end.
