Send your votes for nominations to hollywoodthegame@gmail.com Please do some research before choosing categories. Make sure the Adapted Screenplay is really an adapted screenplay, and the Supporting Actress is actually a woman. If you're not sure, ask! You can nominate five (or three) films.

Voting for yourself, at least in past competitions, is fine as long as you don't ONLY vote for your own films.

In other words: is there any accountability to the nomination/voting process; or can we all just vote for our own films and fill out the rest of the ballot with random selections, without needing to worry about ever justifying our choices or dealing with their consequences?

My view on this would be the voter should be free to publicize his (or her) votes and opinions on the forum, or within an htg publication if they choose to do so. On the other hand if they don't wish to do the above then that wish should be respected. If someone told me I had to reveal my ballot sheet in a political election I'd tell them to kiss my ass.

And you know, when I ran the FM Awards, I had the voting up a week after the period was over, and the awards a week after that. Maybe you should assign someone the task of Awardmaster General. But not me. I apparently bribe people into voting certain ways.
