The M Group: Team Admin Posts: 2,466 Member No.: 22 Joined: 14-August 04	Can you name the movies that the six scenes above came from? If you can, you might win this newest mini event. All you have to do is: Write down the names of the six movies that the scenes came from. Be specific. A partial answer is an incorrect answer. Email the names to me. (It's easy to click my name to the left and use the email function from the message board.) Any other form of entry will not count. Use MOVIES as the subject. You can only enter once. Once you enter, that's it. What if there are multiple people who guess the same amount of movies and got the most? We'll go to a tie breaker. I'm looking for one specific answer to the following: Five of these movies have something in common that the sixth does not. Name that sixth movie and what the difference is. Contest points will be given away to everyone who enters, even if they get none correct. Each first place winner, no matter how many, will get 10 contest points plus one point for the number of people who entered. Second place winners get 5 points plus one for every person who entered. Everyone else gets contest points equal to the number of people who entered. Contest entries are due by the end of Sunday, March 8 (midnight leading to Monday) (Pacific/California time). Let me make this perfectly clear. Everyone who enters will get contest points, even if the guess is lousy. So why not try, even if it's a poor attempt? Here's a reveal that I usually wouldn't give... And no one has guessed all 6 correctly with the tie-breaker correct. Top contest points can still be obtained. Here we are with the answers.* * Note that the "Be specific" on naming the movies was because of Kill Bill Vol. 2. I didn't accept Kill Bill Vol. 1 or even just Kill Bill. Only one person got all 6 movies, so he was the only winner of the 22 points. Congratulations to DCE. Two people guessed 5 correctly. I went to the tie breaker. Only one got it. In fact, she was the only one who got the tie breaker at all. Remember, I was looking for a specific answer. Five of these movies have something in common that the sixth does not. Name that sixth movie and what the difference is. They Live is the standout. Samuel L. Jackson appeared in the other five. So... Second place goes to Ninjalibrarian. Congrats. Everyone else gets the third point amount. Again, thanks for entering. I'll be posting another contest soon.
