Right. Now I'm not sure of a lot of the Revolutions specifications, but from what I've read from various sources, I'll sum up what I know.

The Nintendo Revolution; the next generation advancement from (you guessed it) Nintendo, was....different.

The Revolution will be able to play ANY previous Nintendo game from ANY of its consoles. Yes, this means the NES, SNES, N64, and GC games are compatible with this system. Pretty neat huh?

Thats basically all I know, not sure on the release date either ashamed06.gif

Post Away.

hmm with those new prospects i may actually look into one in the future, well after i secure a ps3 and psp with a decent amount of games anyways.

If it wasnt for the backwards compatability to the NES N64 i wouldnt get it, gamecube sucked imo, only thing that kept it alive was mario and zelda

*Update*

The rumors about the previous console playability has been reduced down to Game Boy games and GameCube games only ashamed06.gif

And thats all I know at this point. Anyone feel free to add.

The huge game compatability would've done nothing good but jack up the price anyway. If you wanna play old games just hook up your old consoles ya lazy bums!

but yeah, the only reason i would get it would be for Zelda...

Oh god. I might get a Revolution if the price is decent...(it's supposed to cost less than the 360 and PS3), only if it has good games...but above that, if they offer alternate controllers outside of the remote controller o_O;;

Idc if it's Logitech and not an official Nintendo controller, just don't make me use the remote. ...of course the controller may be neater than the imagery in my head..:

*Swings controller upward to kill oncoming enemy*
RAWR!
*Misses and gets killed*
*Lunges at TV and smashes controller by beating it multiple times against the screen*

Actually, the Wii controller works nicely. It feels like a TV remote, but plays like a game controller. It just gets tiring, holding it up during FPS games so you can shoot people...

As for the limited games, it does allow all nintendo games, even sega, since nintendo ate sega's soul...
