Today, the Sony PSP Portable Handheld was unleashed in the land of the rising sun. Thousands of gamers anxiously waitied begining 4:30 a.m. to the initial store opening hour of 9.00 a.m. Many hardcore fans slept in the streets, living in cardboard boxes to keep their bodies warm in the freezing temterature of Japan. After the lines began to clear at 10 a.m. many stores still had some stock of PSP left.

let me tell you, it was just as big. But since it was a work day, not many people were hardcore enough to sleep in the streets, besides, the NDS was sold out from pre-orders... so why wait in the cold when you already claimed it.
