Ever wonder how certain usernames are different colors? or bold? or even maybe glowing? Well just follow these instructions and you'll be able to do the same thing in no-time.

Go to your Admin CP > users and Groups > Manage User Groups > Edit Group (of desired group)

Once you are at the edit screen you will see, under Global Settings:

Online List Format [Prefix]: This is what shows before the username. To make their username a different color just simply use this

QUOTE
<span style='color:____'>

Make sure you replace the blank with the color you want them to be
But, you can't just get away that easily. You have to do something else.

See where it says Online List Format [Suffix]: This is what shows after the username. This means you have to close any tags you have put in the Prefix. To close the above one, simply use

QUOTE
</span>

And there ya have it! That group is now the color of your choice! But wait, you want it more detailed too?

Only bold, nothing else:

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <b>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </b>

Only italic, nothing else:

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <i>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </i>

What about bold and italic?

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <b><i>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </i></b>

Ok, so now your saying you want it bold and colored?

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <span style='color:____; font-weight: bold'>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </span>

Hmm, that takes care of the easy stuff. Now for the glowing part

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <font style='color: red; filter:glow(color=black, strength=2); height: 1px;'>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </font>

Do you want it bold also?

QUOTE
Online List Format [Prefix]: <font style='color: red; font-weight: bold; filter:glow(color=black, strength=1); height: 1px;'>
Online List Format [Suffix]: </font>

Don't forget that you can adjust the strength of the glow, and the color of it also

After you are done, scroll down to the bottom and click on Complete Edit.
