Inuyasha’s Era

[Shion]

Shion sat down in a small clearing, and opened his finger out revealing Setsuna once again. The threads were visible due to the fight she was putting up so he had to concentrate more energy into it. He looked up at her just standing there while he fixed the spell then sighed. It was hard enough to control her because of her spiritual powers, but that Kagura woman severing the bond just made it 10 times harder. Now he had to work to get her back under his complete control which could take hours he thought angrily. He looked up at her then sighed shaking his head at times he wondered whether all of this was worth it for one priestess, but lookng up into that beautiful face he steeled his resolve. She was more than worth it, and she would be his by choice not by force...someday....he hoped...

[Raine]

Raine was on patrol, not minding anything. Right now he was in his demon form, his angels moving back and forth. He noticed a strange energy, as if a thread connected to another thread. That's it! Naraku had used that same kind of manipulation. He couldn't reveal his curiousity though, he'd been trained to hide all emotions. Naraku took advantage of them all.

[Shion]

Shion sat still cross legged doubts running through his head. I mean yes she couldn't see him, but she was in love with some human he shuddered at the thought till another one came up. She herself ws human... a priestess at that... he ignored it deciding it didn't matter. He was too enveloped in his thoughts to notice anyone around, and began talking to the Setsuna as usual though knowing she couldn't respond, "Oh Setsuna dearest what shall we do? We're an ill fitting pair," he shook his ugly head, "Oh well we'll figure that out after out 9th child I suppose," he said with a shrug.

[Raine]

Raine heard the voice. It was not Naraku's, but perhaps a demon. One in love at that. The thread must have been some form of manipulation, as if to make a priestess fall in love. Raine walked towards the girl, a priestess. He immediately bowed down, "My lady..." he said, his head facing towards the ground.

[Shion]

Her head turned in the directin causing the ornaments on her head dress to jingle. The noise made Shion look up, and he noticed she was looking away, and frowned the spell hadn't taken full effect because she was still able to react. He looked areoung her, and saw someone bowed down. He yanked on the strings dragging her limp body across the ground to him then lifted her back up to a standing position, "Who are you, and what buisness do you have around my wife," he said lying though he didn't intend for it to be a lie forever.

[Raine]

Raine smiled, he had a weapon that glistened in the moon light. It had a strange blue aura around it. As he stood up, it was obvious what his demon transformation was. "You can call me anything you want...but I like to refer to myself as the one of free will." His blue-aura enchanted weapon cut through the strings, allowing the priestess freedom of movement. "I also believe that you have a connection with Naraku. That technique...Naraku uses it on his servants. I wont ask twice, where is he?"

[Shion]

The strings severed, and Setsuna swayed for a moment before falling to the side Shion cuaght her, but with his small stature she wasn't too far from the ground, "Naraku who the hell is that," he yelled, "and keep your things away from her," he said pushing a strand of hair out of her face, "As if I know anyone by that name."

[Raine]

Raine smiled, "Yeah I'm sure you dont. Though you know his servants. Now let the mistress lie on the floor, she deserves not a demon." Raine held a cold stare at Shion's eyes, his weapon moving a little. It was as if at any given time Raine would make one giant sweep, Slicing both Setsuna and Shion.

[Shion]

Shion looked at the blade then down at the semi concious Setsuna, and tossed her away. She fell a good distance from them lying on her stomach her hair concealing her face. He flexed his claws, and decided to take his usual alternative when faced when someone he didn't think he could beat. "I don't know anyone who could be near this Naraku person I swear it," he said in his most polite, and freindly voice, "my wife and I are simply traveling that's all."

[Raine]

"Do you think I am an idiot?" Raine dissapeared in a blur of speed and picked up Setsuna. "A priestess can not wed. She was brain controlled. I'm taking her back to a temple where the other priestesses can give her an enchantment and rid her of your control." Raine began walking, "Follow me if you wish to be with the one you love. As I said, I am the protector of free will. If you wish to be in love, I will not stop you. However, I wont allow you to force others upon your love."

[Shion]

He was in a bot of schock then it slowly turned to anger, "Get your filthy hands off of her, "He shouted pointing a clawed finger at him, "we were fine before you, and we'll stay fine." Setsuna stirred in Raine's arms, and grumbled. Shion got a bit worried it was hard enough to control her when she was out of it, but awake it might not be so easy especially with whoever this guy was around.

[Raine]

A blue aura would carry out and go around Setsuna, healing her from the full control of the demon (everything that the demon had engraved in her mind). "Were both of you fine, or were you fine and she acted fine? If you really want a successful marriage like you claim, then allow her to be happy as well." Raine stared down at the girl. "And you have nothing to fear, I feal no emotion. I wont sneak a move on her." Raine began walking towards a village.

[Shion]

"She doesn't know what she wants she is far too young," he said dismissivley following after, "I made that decison for her." He saw the village in the distance, and frowned till that last comment registered, "She wouldn't deal with you anyway she's a very vain woman, cold as they come," he said deliberately lying.

[Raine]

"I'm a demon and she's a priestess, if she kills me then I obviously was a fool to save her will. If she lets me live you will kill me. If I let her stay with you I'll eventually die anyways. Obviously if I can save a life I mightaswell." Raine said all of this in the same emotionless face and monotonious voice.

[Shion]

Setsuna blinked then felt herself moving, and clutched at his shirt not knowing where she was. she looked around though she wasn't able to see nothing felt familiar. She had no idea where anything was, and something didn't seem righ tit seemed... off. The last thing she remembered was Jiatsu calling to her to come to him, and.... that's it... Shion saw her eyes open, and froze in place for a moment or two then started to follow, "She can walk put her down." She didn't really know if she could, but if she was just a few inches away he could snag her back, and try to make a quick escape.
