The largest of Etheos' cities in Kande was declared capitol shortly after their arrival on the new world. It is a port city located at the mouth of the Crytian River from where it spills out into the ocean. The city itself is adorned with hanging gardens and statues depicting acts of valor and courage. The more important buildings, such as military headquarters and the housing of the upper caste, are usually of a rectangular design, often with colonnaded porticoes made from marble, while those of lower caste or soldiers live in buildings and housing of similar design, but made of tuff and limestone. Despite the bleak area that contains it, the city itself is a bustling hive of trade and military matters.
