Monday, June 21, 2005: A ship called the Sweet Serenade leaves port and heads to America, aboard it are twelve horses, its precious cargo.
Wednesday, June 23, 2005: After three days at sea, a storm hits late in the night, rocking the ship back and forth with tremendous power. The horses grow scared, and the waves pound at the boat.
Thursday, June 24, 2005: The storm continues well into thursday morning and all those on the ship work endlessly, emptying buckets filled with water that has overcome the ship. Despite their work, a small hole is punctured, sending water into the entire ship slowly but surely. The nearest island is uncharted, but they head for it anyways. Blinded by the rain, they are unable to see the sharp rocks and soon, the boat hits one and begins to sink. The men release the horses quickly, hoping they can swim them to shore. However, just as the horses and men leap off the boat, a huge wave comes, throwing all the men from the slippery bodies of the horses and sending them to their watery grave.
Friday, June 25, 2005: All twelve horses end up on the island's shores, drenched and bleeding. They rest for a long while before they finally gather up enough energy to lead themselves to the forest. After days of recooperating, the horses gain back their health, and make lives for themselves on the island.
Now: Now, almost an entire year after the incident, many horses live on the island, bred from the orginals, and unknowing of their parents, the island is truly one where horses survive. Loners, and herd members together as the island's inhabitants.
