Kalktee Village Kalktee Village is a small settlement within a rather large clearing in the forest; accessible only by two paths, one of them a large path on the other side of the village, Kalktee Village has all the hallmarks of a small city - a blacksmith's shop, an inn, private homes, shops, a marketplace filled with stalls, and the like. Though most of the men and women here do simple work - farming, running their shop, smithing, sewing, and so on - there are also a number of hunters who provide the meat for the village; most of the young women here pick the ripened cherries and green apples from the Grove a half mile or so north of the village to provide the village's fruit, and most of them get married between the ages of twelve and fifteen. In this village, a man can only have one wife; a woman, in the same respect, can only have one husband. |

Small Hill This small hill overlooks the edge of the Glade, a vast plain and wetland filled with many different creatures - alligators, crocodiles, zebras, lions, hyenas, and others; the heat of the Glade is often the main cause that not many people travel past this point if they can avoid it. |

In this village, a man can have up to three wives; a woman, however, can only have one husband. |

Mountain Path This is only safe way to ascend - of course, if you're a daredevil looking for advenure, you could always try to scale the mountain elsewhere; however, the path itself is often difficult enough to negotiate - if I were you, I'd just avoid the Mountain altogether... Temple of the God of War Hidden in a remote part of the Mountain that is nearly inaccessable to most mortals is the Temple of the God of War, where those who truly wish to worship Tornin can do so without interruption; if you come to worship him, though, be sure to bring a human sacrifice - preferably a young virgin girl, since they're often the most innocent and pure mortals - and make sure the sacrifice is alive when you bring him/her. Tornin will burn the sacrifice himself if he feels it's a worthy sacrifice - but, if Tornin does not appear and burn the sacrifice, you might want to leave as quickly as possible... Endless Ocean Just outside the golden mist that protects the island and its inhabitants is an endless stretch of icy-cold water; the waves are very choppy, and not at all suitable for a small boat (even a fishing boat). As such, no one has ever neared the golden mist; it's just as well, too, for those who would approach it would never make it past the God of War... |
