The following positions must be applied for via PM - I'll need a good reason why you want to play this character, as well as your character description; gods & goddesses can wield any magic or weapon, unless otherwise specified, and can transport themselves to any point on the island in an instant (thus often seeming to be in more than one place at a time).

There are three distinct areas of the island; each of the areas is guarded by a powerful idol relating to one of the gods/goddesses. The areas and their desriptions are listed below.
Mountain - This area is guarded and given life by a statuette of the Goddess of the Sky; though often considered an arctic wasteland, it is actually quite beautiful.
Glade - This vast wetland is guarded and given life by two small pyramids of gold, representing the Gods/Goddesses of Fire and Water; it houses many creatures, mammals and amphibians alike.
Forest - The Forest is guarded and given life by a sacred dagger with a blade of silver and a hilt of emerald, representing the God/Goddess of the Earth; it is said to be one of the most beautiful forests on all the Earth, though none have ventured out into the open sea to discover whether or not this is actually true. It is quite beautiful, however, especially at twilight; the God/Goddess of the Earth is said to appear to those who view the heart of the Forest at twilight - but only once in each person's life. Those who do see her, however, are often blessed by wealth, great health, and deep friendships and relationships for the rest of their lives.
Each of the artifacts give the area in which they reside life; if an artifact is removed from its place of origin, the area will begin to die. As each of the areas begins to die, the God/Goddess presiding over that area begins to lose their power and immortality. This is why the artifacts are well-hidden by the Gods/Goddesses presiding over them, and why those who
do manage to find the artifacts (not that many do - it's an extremely rare occurrence) are blessed by the God/Goddess presiding over the found artifact; if they return to the area, however, or reveal the location of the artifact, they are punished severely by the God/Goddess presiding over the artifact - and those they've told are promptly executed by the God/Goddess of Death.
The following is a list of gemstones pertaining to each branch of magic; please note that Gods & Goddesses do not require the use of gemstones to cast spells (they
are Gods & Goddesses, after all

).
Diamond - Light Magic
Onix - Dark Magic
Ruby - Fire Magic
Sapphire - Water Magic
Emerald - Earth Magic
Pearl - Sky Magic
The following is a list of spells from each branch of magic. Each level of a spell is determined by how many posts you have; the required number of posts to cast that spell are listed in parentheses, with the exception of the first spell (the one your character starts out with). The second number in parentheses is the number of gemstones required to cast that spell (gemstones can be used over and over again, but a certain number are required to provide the necessary mana for a spell); for the first spell you learn, the number of gemstones required to cast the spell is the first number in parenteses. Also note that all Mages start out with 1 gemstone of their element (the Superior Mage starts out with 1 of each element - 6 gemstones total - and can cast all spells, provided they have enough posts and gemstones); more can be bought later with silver (the currency of the island), but everyone (save for the Superior Mage) starts with one.

A few final notes should be mentioned here; first, each God/Goddess can morph into an animal of their choosing (I must know about it, of course.) and back again at will. The God of War (namely, me) can morph into any animal he chooses (and back again) at will; also, Gods/Goddesses have the power to bless or curse mortals - nothing major, unless it is run by me first (and I approve of it) - in whatever way they deem fit for whatever reason they deem fit. If you feel you have been unjustly cursed, PM me and I will rectify the situation - however, don't PM me every time you're cursed just because you don't like being cursed; if the God/Goddess who cursed you had a valid reason, I'll give them free reign (unless it's something big, in which case they'll need permission from me as stated above). Blessing generally includes a specialty or rare item, a physical or mental 'gift' (
ALL of which must be approved by me first), teaching them how to use a new weapon (and giving them one of that weapon to use), etc.; cursing, on the other hand, can be almost anything - boils, a sickness, taking away a mortal's items or money, etc. It can also be forcing them to undergo a specific quest - whether it be to kill or kidnap someone (or something), to steal something, to gain information, or whatever. Quests that are not curses are optional.
One last thing: the worshipping of Gods/Goddesses can only be done in their temples, and always involve a sacrifice (usually a goat, though each God/Goddess may decide which animal they want to be sacrificed to them - don't go overboard with this) and a prayer; it doesn't matter what the prayer is - a praise, request for the blessing of another (you CANNOT request a blessing for yourself from ANY God/Goddess), etc., but you must pray to the God/Goddess you've chosen to worship. Also, this must be done on a weekly basis at the least, to appease your God/Goddess, but preferably on a daily basis; if the God/Goddess you're worshipping is pleased with your sacrifice and prayer, he/she may bless you - but it is a very rare occurrence, so don't expect to be blessed every time you worship. Oh, and you can't suddenly decide to switch Gods/Goddesses simply because you've been cursed or don't like your current God/Goddess; once you've chosen, what's done is done - no exceptions.
