He is a soft hearted soul who is only motivated by the best intentions even thought he often can be klutzy and makes mistakes, mainly due to his alien heritage and his difficulty with the English language. However, no manner what he is almost always appears cheerful and kind, taking great joy in helping others even if they aren’t too kind to him. Zeebee is just that sweet boy-next-door type that would gladly help little old women cross the street or a save a kitty in a tree. Yes, he is just that sweet!

Zeebee also has a strong sense of compassion for his fellow man or alien. He thinks everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt, but if you revealed yourself to be a threat to him and his friends (especially his Commander) he will not hesitate to put all his efforts at stopping you. Even if he has to kill you, though he dislikes the thought of killing anyone. Though if you show yourself to be innocent, good or with potenial to be good he will go beyond his duty to help you.

Truly the Torlonian is a rare find in this time and age not jaded by debauchery or loss but is a ball of sunshine, warming the lives and hearts he literally bounces into. And like any good sun he is brimming with energy. Energy that would put hyperactive children to shame with all his jumping about and excitement over just about everything. To Zeebee everything is a new and wondrous experience that he meets with wide-eyed anticipation.

Zeebee was born on the planet Torlonia on the holiday Valentine’s Day, a holiday that the Torlonians adopted from their human allies, much to the joy of his parents Dovan and Lalee. Years previously his mother had been attending university when she met Dovan, a professor of Earth studies. He was twenty years older then her but that didn’t matter to her they were already in love. However, Lalee had accepted a contract to play football off world. So they put their hot and heavy affair on hold as she traveled to play her beloved sport. The short hiatus turned from weeks to months, but they remained faithful to each other. When she finally returned to her lover, it was evident she had left with a little more then she had originally thought, she was with child.

Six months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy that they named Zeebee after her father, Zeebee Shee the famous martial arts master. His childhood was one marked by continuous movement between his homeworld with his father and the infrequent times with his mother and Earth to visit his mother and her father while she was playing on a galactic football team. When he was visiting Earth it was his grandfather who took to the care of young Zeebee. He was the one to teach him his first lessons of using their unique abilities that happened off world in lower gravity planets and introduced him to martial arts, which he would love throughout his young life. He bonded quite quickly to them as he grew into his teens. However, the relationship with his father on Torlonia was much more strained. They were complete opposites and seemed to have nothing in common to bond them. That was all until they discovered their shared love in all things human. From then on Zeebee loved spending time with his dad, wasting hours discussing Earth matters and playing games that humans enjoyed indoors. Dovan had got his son back.

At the age of fourteen he entered into the Torlonian equivalent of high school while at home he was reunited with his mother, who had finally retired from her sport of choice. Life was right on track for young Zeebee. He did well in school and was quite the popular boy with his charming good looks and sweet temperament. Girls and boys equally wanted to date him but Zeebee had no real interest in relationships at the time. He was too occupied with the desire to return to Earth. His dream did come turn when he was accepted to an Earth based university in London. Once again he flourished in his schooling and his relationships, gaining himself a human female girlfriend that took his virginity.However, it turned out to be a short-lived romance and Zeebee quickly turned his attention to athletics. Because of his earlier training and his species heritage he was a fantastic gymnast and a clear shoo in for the Olympics if he continued his training but that was not to be his fate.

Zeebee enjoyed gymnastics and sports but his mind had matured since his youthful days watching his mother play football. He wanted to do sometime with his life that would make a difference. So when he was offered a spot with Torchwood as a liaison for the Torlonian people, he jumped at it. It’s now been several years since he joined Torchwood and he is as happy as a clam in water working personally under the handsome and mysterious Commander Yan Harper. A man he is starting to feel some unique feelings for, dare he call it love? Or is it a meaningless crush? Only time will tell.
