The Prologue
Just Nouth of the region of Sinnoh lies the Kiroe Islands, or just Kiroe for short (Ki-row-e). These islands are a total of thirteen, very large islands, for each are bigger than The Sevii Islands combined. Because they are so big, it is best recognized as a region. They are also so large that, every year, they attract Pokemon that are native Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, including the legendary ones. And, during all these years, the Kiroe Islands' Pokemon League takes place. It brings together Trainers who fight to become the very best, the Pokemon Champion....
This... is
his story.
Michael has lived in the Kiroe Islands region his entire life. Everyday, his parents use to take him outside of his house to see Pokemon up close and play with them. They are the most wonderful creatures on planet Earth that he had ever seen. As he grew older, he began to learn of those who fight and fight to become the very best in Kiroe with the help of Pokemon. When he became five years old, he made a promise to himself and to his parents that he will become the very best, like no one ever was. To catch them will become his real test. To train them will become his cause. He said that you will travel across the land, and search far and wide to see every Pokemon that the Kiroe Islands have to offer. This promise has not been fulfilled for nine years now...
But now, it is time to fulfill this promise to his parents. It is his fourteenth birthday. He receive a letter in the mail from Kiroe's Pokemon Professor, Scott. The letter states, "Dear Michael, your parents tell me that you promised them that you will become the greatest Pokemon Trainer. Well, that promise still stands, right? If it does, meet me at my Pokemon Research Lab in Palladium Town as soon as possible. I will give you your first Pokemon partner and your Pokedex, and more will be explained once you get here." This is the greatest birthday Michael will ever have. As soon as his going away/birthday party ends, he wished everyone farewell, and spent his final night at home with his mom and dad.
Now, it is off Palladium Island! But, little do he know is that his best friend is on his way too. Also, a new villainous team, known as Team Nova, knowing every single legendary will be in Kiroe on a special day, plan on capturing all of them, so that their hell-bent leader, Tyzonn, can rule the cosmos. (yes, cliched, I know this.) Michael's mind has a lot of things on it. Becoming Pokemon Champion and stopping Team Nova. And, perhaps that greatest thing that is on Michael's mind is seeing every single Pokemon in the world. Will he become the Pokemon Champion? Will he stop Tyzonn? Will his dreams, hopes, and promises be fulfilled? All that, of course, is up to him, and the choices he makes.
But, little does Team Nova know is that there is a reason why the Pokemon of legend come to the Kiroe Islands. They gather every 5,000 years at an island known as the Island of Origin to use their amazing powers to do one thing: stop Pangaea. If Pangaea happens, the entire world and it's regions will come together, then, the regions will sink to the ocean floor. The God-Pokemon Arceus would not let happen, so he gathered all the Legendary Pokemon he created and took them to Kiroe's Island of Origin, to do a ritual to stop Pangaea from passing. Once this ritual has begun, it cannot stop. But, most of the legendary Pokemon hate other legendary Pokemon, don't they? Well, not to worry. They settle their differences in order to help the Creation Pokemon stop this world-threating process.
Once he arrives at the Pokemon Research Lab on Palladium Island, Professor Scott shows Michael 12 Starter Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. Which will he choose? A grass-type Pokemon? An electric-type Pokemon? A fire-type Pokemon? Or will he choose A water-type Pokemon? Stay tuned for the first chapter!
