Your favorite part about forming an army?
Mine is painting because...
I hate SUPER GLUING! It gets stuck on my hands,
Any tips on how to get it off?
I would say the building process of an army. I really enjoy converting..most of my recent work has been on my 40K traitor guard army but now that I am working on my Tomb Kings, I'm having fun building the figures and planning on the conversion I want to include.
I am an average painter and player....I like playing regardless of winning or loosing but the crafting of an army and including conversions is the part I enjoy the most.
Thanks,
Tom
I find it all fun :)
Converting and painting. But if i need to pick one than it would be converting. It's fun creating you're own unique model or weapon to be placed in your army. It taps a lot more into the creative side than painting does for me. (Yes you can get creative with painting but the model stays the same).
Tip: When you get superglue on your hands dip them into your water jar. It makes the superglue set immediatly which will help prevent glueing your fingers together ;)
My favorite part:
Starting to collect a new army. Assembling and painting the first few models, designing the color scheme and brainstorming for fluff ideas.
And of course the first few games with the new models!
Nail polish remover can help get rid of access glue, wether it be on your minis or your fingas....
If you are assembling models, use plastic glue as it is more forgiving...I had to learn that the hard way while assembling a couple of armies..
