Title: The Two Things I Would Change
Description: to make us more manuverable

Ok i am liking Tomb Kings alot but i just have 1 problem with them
They are so unmanoverable
We have such large foot prints that we always seem to end up on terrain
No if they allowed the chariots to take a 50 point banner and the necro knights to take a 25point banner then that wld solve alot of our problems.
as now the chariots dont have to worry about terrain and the necro knights can take on the job of monster hunters
Its just small things like this that bug me as we now have to wait about 8 years for this to get fixed :(

I think they were intended to be like that, rather than its a bug that needs fixing.
I quite like it if I'm honest, it means we have to actually think about what we are doing and plan for future turns in advance. And if scenery is a problem then that's just how it goes, many generals don't choose the battlefield, and rather stuck with it.
If chariots and Stalkers/Knights were allowed a magic banner (or the 25 point bump in the case of chariots) I have a feeling they would be quite over powered.
Just my opinions ;)

well Tomb Kings are nowhere near over powered so giving as a helping hand somewhere wld have been nice
Anyway i was just getting prober bases for my army when i realised that apart from my archers nearly everything takes up the full length of those movment trays
and in the case of the chariots, 1 unit just sits onto it
It just makes the whole army so un-wieldy and all over the place i feel

Terrain never bothers me. 2+ to avoid crashing a chariot is peachy, and though I've failed before I just res them back.

doesnt work when your unit of 8 chariots has its king hit the self destruct button exploding his.

Personally, I don't know what 25pt banner Necro Knights would take that would make them "overpowered" - giving them a role as monster hunters thanks to the Flaming Banner doesn't strike me as over-the-top - just about every cavalry unit out there can do that! I think they're actually rather lackluster as written, which is a shame, 'cause they look cool.
I don't consider the Chariots crashing into stuff a big deal, though. Those are much easier to heal, and quite frankly having Royals in them is only a good idea if you didn't bring Tomb Guard, and then I have to ask - why didn't you bring Tomb Guard?

Because Tomb Guard don't fit my play style :P I, on the other hand, would say that having a Royal character is only what makes them superlative.

It's only 1 chariot; how did you position yourself as to force him to take a check? Just seems like poor placement (and bad dice, of course), rather than otherwise.

played a game against dark elves
On my turn 2 i charge a unit of 8 chariots into his hydra (already taken a wound from shooting) out of 3 terrain tests i killed 3 chariots (i rolled triple 1)
After just killing the hydra (3 wounds from impact hits and just managed 1 wound from the charioteers) i over ran into his mage bunker of spearmen and out of 3 wounds i rolled 2 1's however luckily i only killed 1 chariot.
I did roll 18 impact hits though however he mindrazored his spearmen and wiped out the chariots just doing enough wounds to take out the unit (very annoying seeing as i had killing blow and +1 attack on the chariots so i was going to smack that mage
Still managed masascre his army thanks to a charge from 16 archers into his unkillable dreadlord, holding him up for 3 turns and allowing my tomb guard to butcher his black guard, running down his bsb :)

Nice work! 18 impact hits is awesome, if only that could happen every game!! ;)
