Just wanted to let people know about the mantic kickstarter project in case somone on this forum hasn't seen it discussed elsewhere

Pretty cool overall. currently the highest stretch goal is 100,000 (current pledge at the time of this post is 71,xxx) with goals at 75,85,and 95k. Mantic posted as well that the stretch goals after 100k are going to be pretty exciting.

the concept art for trolls, werewolves and ogres have been released... they look pretty cool.

Yeah this is quite cool, I'm a pledger already and I will get a ton of stuff for really cheap, plus a second ton of free stuff they keep throwing in, this is a very nice project :P

One cool thing is that at the $85,000 mark, they'll produce a unit of mummies, so it should be quite nice for us Tomb Kings players. It will depend on the style though, but will sure be interesting!

funny enough I just stumbled across their kikstarter about ten minutes before reading this post. pledged myself in at the 175.00 range. I was going to buy their undead figs anyway so all the extras are a nice bonus.

it just went past 80,000. Mummies are more than likely going to occur. 175.00 pledge looks like a pretty sweet spot netting now a free unit of trolls and a free unit of mummies once it hits 85k.... then onward to Gargoyles/Harpies.

I have no doubt they'll reach the 100,000$ mark, there's still nearly 2 weeks to go, and it's constantly going up. Plus if they can get some concept sketch done for the Mummies and Gargoyles, more people might buy them as extra as well.

only about $600 to go for mummies. that's kinda exciting

Mummies stretch goal acheived, anyone having pledged 100.00 gets 1 free mummy, anyone who has pledged 175 gets 5 free mummies and they are available in sets of 10 as a buy 1 get 1 free for 25.00 (so 25.00 for 20 Mummies I believe)

next stretch goal is the Gargoyle harpies things. Hopefully they can get some quick concept art out of Studio McVey today.

The Kickstarter just broke 100k! Gargoyles and Skeleton dog handler are a go. Next up is Beserker Dwarf Brock Riders, though the $ mark hasn't been offically declared. I'm guessing 110,000 since they did a new unit per 10,000 on the previous round.

I knew that we would reach the 100k mark, but never I thought it would be so fast! There's plenty of time left, so we can squeeze a few mor stretch goal :D

The Dwarf cavalry is 110k as you guessed pharohtrickydick. Can't wait to see what they'll do after that, because we'll definitly pass that soon :P

The amount of free stuff we're getting at this point is insane, especially when added to the super cheap bundle you get from the pledge and from the extras.

I know, I'm getting pretty much an entire 2500+pt Orc army in GW translation, plus a ton of extra minis. all for less than 250.00! and getting what looks to be a pretty cool game (have never actually played KoW, Local friendly store is very hostile to non GW games unforunetly).
really looking forward to those Goblin Fleabag Riders, the mawbeasts look fantastic

anyone else on the forum currently pledging? I'm trying to convince a friend and his DnD group that they should pledge 175 each just to get the minis if nothing else for their DnD games.... I know I have one of them sorely tempted.

I'm deciding if I want to be the one guy at the $8000 level.

Actually, I'm having a hard time figuring our what I get for what. It keeps changing! I have some time left, but I think I'll probably end up in the Lieutenant level + some extra goodies.

My good friend was thinking about it, but we really looked at what get for 8k and it just isn't worth it. The 5k was a good deal (all th cool stuff + mantic paid for a flight from NY to England, the 8k just is a little of a letdown. He's considering it still but is going to email them to ask for them to pay for his flight in addition to the other goodies

Well basically, if you pledge a total of 175$ or more (combining your pledge + extras), you receive one sample unit of everything they do, starting with the Trolls (it doesn't include the Werewolves or Ogres, but you can get them with the Veterent pledge or as extras).


So for 175$, you basically get all of this for free:

And the futur objectives, should we reach them, will give you:

Goblin Flee Riders (unspecified number for now)


At the 225$ level, you get all of this, plus a free Werewolves and Ogres unit (3 models each), plus one of each heroes model they do, wich is curently 4 (I'm not sure but I think it's for those who pledged 3000$ and more that have a scult of them made).

that's what I perceive as correct. the two 5,000 and 2 from the 6,000 eternal warriors pledge.


5 Fleabag riders for 175+ pledgers
next is a unit of plastic abysall dwarves (Immortal guard) pledgers of 175 will be getting 5 for free. Its also possible that they will replace the 20 black souls with 40 Immortal guard in the Abyssal dwarf army deals.
They will probably also become part of the Buy 1 get 1 free my guess is 25 for a box of 10 yeilding a total of 20 for 25.00

I remember about the mantic point been asked, and haven't seen an answer either, but for all the stuff we get, I couldn't care less :P

The 140,000$ target is now passed, and Mantic announced the next stretch :D

They will make 2 units with that, cavalry for both type of Elves!

Pledges of 175$ will get a set of 5 of one type (our choice), and 225$ + will get a set of 5 for both type.

I personally hoped to get Twilight Kin upgraded to plastic, but at least they're still getting a plastic kit!

I will probably wait until Friday when I get my next paycheck (I can afford it now, granted)... but I will probably get at least the soldier level so I can get the rules.

I love some of their minis (Undead and Elves), I just don't know if I want to drop a ton of money right now as I'm working on my 2nd degree right now... and I could use my Warhammer armies for the casual games. Granted, I even use some of their models (won a big box of zombies nearly a year ago, and I think I got some more) so I could round out my zombies for my VC.

Though if I ever decided to do High Elves, I'd probably go with the Mantic elves.

The 150k goal is reached, free Elf cavalry for everyone (if you pledged enough, of course) :D

Next update a 175k, they'll produce some Angel Paladin, wich are monstrous infantry for their upcomming Angel/Demon army, the concept look promising so far!

I know, My wife has gotten sick me me talking about it, she's going to put in a pledge to get some Goblins because they are so cute.

I wonder if they will give pledgers a pdf of the angel/demon thing like they did for the character supplement.

Seeing that, and all the goodies, has me thinking of dropping $100.

Monstrous infantry Paladin Angels are in, free mini/set for everyone!

Next goal is 200k with some battle nuns as a result. Hope to reach it as fast as the angels, because I want to see the next goal! Not a big fan of battle nuns in general myslef so don't really care for them.

Oh and some basic sketch of both the Angels and the battle nuns are on the Kickstart page, if anyone wonder and care to look :)

last 52 hours to go, should be getting an update here fairly soon but the kickstarter is up to 215,859 at the time of me typing this.

Pretty sure Shiny Syndrome has grabbed me in full. I've dropped a lot more then my original 100.00 pledge I've loved the celestrial figures so far. Men At Arms are next at 225k.

course I figure if I win the lottery tonight I'll be getting that 8k god of war pledge and get the vamps to be done in an egyptian theme if possible (would be pretty cool) One can dream right?

So we passed the Men at Arm, and the human Paladin are just in as I type this at 250k too!

Edit: Update for the 275k stretch have been posted, some Abyssal Golem thingy, wich look quite promising :)

This kickstarter has been so much fun! last 15 hours. With the rate its increasing we might make 300k.... especially if its a doozy of a stretch!

The Golem stretch is now achieved. The newest, and last, stretch goal is the Ogre Hero from the artwork at 289,999$. We're already at 281k so it's pretty close already!
