about the collision at sea thing that you dont get... this is what it means:
if you have a collsion at sea, it will ruin your day; because you will most likely be dead....

It's just that it is a saying from the game Rome: Total War and I don't get the meaning of it. I always try to find a deeper meaning to things, after all it is a "quote" some old thinker came up with. Was it Homer? (NO, not the "dow-homer" :P )

It's too, shall we say, clear for me to grip.....
