Title: Warvault Community Web Ring
Description: Help us Awaken the Tombs!!
plasmapuff - February 13, 2006 03:13 AM (GMT)
:P Hi Everybody :P
We've recently joined the Warvault community webring. A growing community dedicated to publicising the exploits of the global wargaming community. In order to awaken a greater number of Tomb Lords from their eternal slumber, we would encourage all members to just vote for our site once every so often.
Its not very hard and takes about 2 seconds. Doing so will ensure that we can keep the Necropolis of Khemri up and running and as vibrant as ever. I have placed a small banner at the bottom of our forum with the link.
We're currently ranked 19th at the moment. 19th!!! So come on and get voting to attract some explorers to our tombs.
Thanks for your support!

Hey everyone!
Great to see activity from over here; it's certainly encouraging when you see forums taking advantage of the system you've set up. Thanks one and all for your support, for both Khemri and Warvault itself.
Please, if you'd like to support Warvault even more, come and talk rubbish on the
Community forums! We'll let you talk about anything (within certain rules, anyway), to anyone. And we won't chide you for it; just hang out and invite your friends!
Let's get some Khemri comments on the go, too. Hehe.

Chaotica - May 17, 2006 04:36 PM (GMT)
Warvault got hacked and it seems they'll have to build everything from scratch. I read this on another forum and thought some people here might find it useful to know.
Angron - June 27, 2006 07:04 AM (GMT)
Hey everyone,
Ok, I don't know if you ever got told, but a few weeks ago, I, after fully aquiring ownership of Warvault, decided to turn it back on after the hack.
Warvault Mk. I is therefore back in action, and though a redesign is of course occurring, I am still putting effort into this one. I am still emailing sites, talking to companies, etc., and I have pushed the project forward since I got full admin rights.
Red Star Games!Rackham!Privateer Press! Also in the work are Dark Age, Mongoose Publishing and Projekt X from North Star Games. Everyone loves Warvault!!
So, get going! I am
not resetting until Mk. II is out, and when that happens, it will not drop to 0. We will have a percentage drop over time thanks to our coders. So your efforts will
not go to waste!
Hope to see you lot kicking Khemri.co.uk up the listings!

Horus the Everlasting - July 25, 2006 10:01 PM (GMT)
Ummmm, where do I vote for Khemri.co.uk???
plasmapuff - August 2, 2006 01:46 PM (GMT)
Ok with warvault revamped I've fixed the link and the banner at the bottom of the page.
I've tried to make it as unintrusive as possible, but if members could perhaps just click on it a couple of times a week they'll go a long way in helping us reawaken all those slumbering tomb lords!!! :P
So what are you for? Awake thy neighbour! Let us conquer in the name of Khemri

I'd actually prefer to have created a new thread but didn't want to do that in the Announcements board, which is the place for what I have to say.
An e-mail was sent out today by Angron, owner of Warvault, to announce that Warvault has experienced downtime caused by a hack attack.
He asked us to notify everyone. As such I created this
http://wargamingforums.com/?p=43 with the details and I've sent notifications to other forums I use. Just making the rounds.
Please check out the article I wrote because YOU may be able to help.
plasmapuff - October 15, 2006 02:38 PM (GMT)
Bump! Please click on the banner on the bottom of the page if you have time (it takes 3 secs).
We're currently sliding down... to 6th behind some random japanese website!!!
Click on the banner below or

Games Workshop - Craig - October 18, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
Well someone hasnt been voteing ! We are now 7th on the Warvault listings <_<.
Kouran - October 20, 2006 12:05 PM (GMT)
I did! I'll keep doing that whenever I go online from now, if I remember it.
Teifion - October 24, 2006 07:01 AM (GMT)
I'm unimpressed guys, if World of Arl managed to become 1st in 24 hours with only 80 - 100 players, I'm sure you guys can manage to get over 100 votes a day without breaking a sweat.
Chaotica - October 30, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
People, only 5 more votes and mr Teifion's world of Arl is number 2 and we're number 1. So get voting.
Guest - December 21, 2006 11:28 AM (GMT)
Khemri will rise again one last time, god wills it!
Everyone vote! Vote like 1st place is up for grabs which it sort of is .
Akhenaton - December 25, 2006 03:15 AM (GMT)
C'mon we can at least get back in the top five, I try to vote everytime I visit.
Lord Marke - The High Chancellor - December 25, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
I doubt you will know me but I have known all you for very long time always reading never posting. Before my holiday with a few friends, this forum was doing very well on warvault, thanks to the numerous people that I convinced to vote for this forum. Ofcourse it did not take much convinceing, as soon as they saw the forum they fell in love with it right away.
So it is around 5:00 - 5:30 AM, I make a special vow that I will find and convince the people needed to make this forum number 1 by 9:30 AM today. If should I fail then at least we will still be number 1 in both forum and member quality.
Akhenaton - December 25, 2006 08:31 AM (GMT)
Well it looks like you made good on that vow, nicely done! :D Lets keep it up everyone, this is a great forum.
P - December 25, 2006 10:49 AM (GMT)
I just have to say that I simply love your forum, perhaps when I can afford a fourth hobby or quit a current one I will start collecting Tomb Kings. That is the impact you have add on me. So I want offer every member that made the forum what it was a big big THANK YOU and a promise that if I do collect Tomb Kings I will certainly join this forum :D.

I'm intrigued...what are these three heretical hobbies which prevent you from taking a righteous place amongst our ranks?
zephyro - December 26, 2006 11:04 AM (GMT)
I can probably guess one of them :P (taking the average citizen)
Something having to do with ''beer'' and ''lots of'' ;).
But well, if this helps the site in any way (more activity would be nice) it's a big plus! :)
Angron - December 26, 2006 02:49 PM (GMT)
Lord Marke, getting people you know to vote for Khemri is all well and good if we don't find out, but posting it on here is a bit stupid. And having them all comment under your email address is also a wee bit stupid. And having them all use the same wildcarded IP is a bit stupid, too.
All in all, you didn't do that good a job of fudging the voting system, did you.
I'd advise you to stop doing it this way or Khemri may end up getting suspended, in the aim of fairness. However, your IP and email address will be banned from Comments from now on.
Come on guys, play fair.

I'm a afraid I do not know any of the people who voted for it. I don't think there is a way to tell who or how many people hit a signature link . If they commented they must have thought it was a great forum and it will not have been my email address as I havent posted it yet. As to the same IP well you should perhaps make it so people can only vote once, makes sense dos'nt it?
As to playing fair, if I add a please vote for this forum to my signature and happen to post on a forum where I am both loved and respected I can't control the amount of people who vote for this forum which they seem to judge deserving of there votes.

With the hacking of the wha'?
That post just reeks of bull. Stop trying to be clever. You lost out when half of the comments said 'Wow, I'd join this forum if I knew about War Hamer! I just voted coz Marke told me to! rofl'.

Anyone in charge here?

Angron stop trying to cause trouble & Marke stop trying to debate it you just can't do that with Angron he just retaliates with <<flowers>> <_<. Now as far as I know a lot of people add vote for my forum on warvault links to there signature's it's not Markes vault he goes to fourms where the problems are to many members on at any given time <_< (poor dial up users :().
Now I suggest you stop jumping to the wrong conclusions all the time Angron <<edited by Bone Idol>> & Marke try not to use words like convince as people really can get the wrong idea. I know you want to get the praise for getting them first but you can still get it by just saying you added a link to your sig and you expect a few good honest people to vote for Khemri.
So now thats settled I am going to swing this topic back on tract and say, Congrats I knew Khemri had it in her self to be first but can she keep the pace , she is slowing down in the votes she is taken and it would seem her rival the Blood Keep is gaining a footing :o...
Bone Idol - December 28, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
Now, I don't want to start throwing blame or accusing anyone of any wrong-doing, but all this "finding people to vote" sounds kinda fishy to me...if those of you who've stated this meant "encouraging/reminding members of this forum to vote when they visit the forum" then all well and good, but if we're talking about people who aren't members of this site, who have no particular interest in all things Tomb Kings voting for us then thanks, but no thanks...(I do accept that some of our votes may come from enthusiasts of other Warhammer armies who've visited and want to show how much they like this Forum, which is cool...)
This is already a great Forum, offering a wide range of desert-based, afterlife activities...we are a proud civilisation and do not require the artificial inflation of our ego's in this way...moreover it is exactly this type of activity that got George Dubya Bush elected, and therefore cannot be a good thing!
So please, lets put Dubya back in the box...lets make this a place where our wings can truely take dream, but lets do it fairly! I think Akhenaton said it best when he said he tried to vote whenever he logged on here, and I think that's the right attitude to take- there are no prizes for coming first after all!
I would also like to second Angron's request that some of us come over to the Warvault Community Forum's and help represent Khemri there too...and members, remember to vote when you visit, lest our tombs fall silent and the deserts of obscurity close over our withered heads... ;)
Criti - December 30, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
Bah! Ya'll wouldn't have had a chance to take the #1 spot if Warhammer Realm were still allowed on the vote. ;)
Seriously though, hope to see you guys stay on top - this is a nice pleasant board to read through - and I hope to start posting here more.

 Clan Venerable! What do you think you are doing? Volley voting may be allowed acording to Warvaults rules but it is at the very least bad sportsmanship. Craig why do you let this go on, sure Angron is a <<fellow human being and registered member of this site>>; But I know you are better than that.
Clan Elemental, there are only two words I have to say to you and it took a wise Doctor to show me what they were, SHAME! SHAME!!!
<<Edited paragraphs- Hell, didn't understand a word of this bit, but it smelled like a personal attack to me!>>
This war has gone on long enough will you not surrender Angron and put this maddness behind you? Or must another downfall pass at CV hands before you see the Errors of your ways? Think long and hard about that because within the next few days the Lost Glade will truly be lost, more so now that <<fellow human being>>; Leo has arrived. You remember what Leo done to the Black Tavern (I think it was called) hm?
