Been a while since I've posted here, I know my poor Tomb Kings models are feeling neglected. sad.gif

The team at ulthuan.net (formerly asur.org) is launching their 4th online campaign!

Ulthuan in Flames is the last of a series of campaigns set in an alternate reality of the Warhammer world. At this point, we find Malekith and the Pheonix King have entered into an alliance in order to defend Ulthuan from the invading forces of Chaos, made of of the Cult of Slaanesh and the Hordes of the Everchosen, led by Alith Anar!

The campaign plays out much like warhammer, but all your units and the battles themselves are fully online! You choose your units, heroes, equipment, etc., move your forces and fight battles for control of locations.

The general discussion thread, where you can find rules, instructions on how to register, etc. can be found here: http://www.ulthuan.net/forum/viewforum.php...4f3d16fc23ed6b1

I know myself and a few others from Khemri.co participated in the previous campaign, Hour of the Wolf, where we fought for Nehekhara. With Nagash's death in the last campaign, and being that it takes place on Ulthuan, the Nehekharans don't have their own faction this time.

However, a couple of Neks (myself included) have stowed away aboard the invading ships and allied with the Hordes of Anar for the promise of glory and immortality (no mummification necessary)! We also have a dwarf or two, and even a knight, so you'll fit right in! (my name is Amun-Lothain on ulthuan.net, by the way)

At the moment, the forces of Chaos are badly outnumbered. While you are free to join any faction, know that if you side with those poncy elves, you will be labeled as such.

P.S. Where's Bone Idol? We need his hilarious campaign news reports and propaganda!

*waves paw at Amun-Lothain*
True. Bone Idol is strongly missed.

Some 18 turns left, and Akhenaton has made some background for joining the forces of Anar. Remember the campaign background is quite different from GW.
Something we Desert Rats really took advantage of in the last campaign wink.gif

However, as Clan Husk is loyal (as much as skaven can be) to the rulers of Nehekhara, I have chosen a different approach this time, as a RatOgre , who has been gifted with mind (and another mutation) from Slaanesh. Therefore he is devoted to the Prince of Pain & Pleasure.

Hope I didn't hijack anything.
