when nagash casts the spell the ground where the lost legion was the ground shakes and all of a suddon it opens up like a great pit and out bursts the lost legion and burning with desire to become more then a price he proclaimed that he was now a king because of the trails he had been through

extra fluff:
before amentut set out on such a deadly quest and one of inportense for the priesthood he was given a small cup of the un-finished potion of imortality that the priests kept as a guarded secret

Strangely enough for someone who has been a decidedly hard core Dungeons & Dragons junkie for so many years, I actually know very little about the background fluff for WHFB (aside for the stuff written in the TK army book). I really play for the strategic & tactical elements of the game, the fluff is seccondary for me.

Having said that, I can write a little. Spelling and grammar aside, I actually got alright at it in terms of content when I went through my play-by-post phase a couple of years back, so I'll help where I can. Just be aware that (since I'm not really up to speed with all the novels and background) I may suggest things that fly in the face of the published fluff.

Looks like you've got a pretty decent framework laid out for your fluff mate. Should give you plenty of scope to flesh it out a bit.

So what are you looking to achieve with this? Is it just a quick bit of fluff to help crystalise the theme for your army in your own mind, or did you want to develop it into a kind of short story?

Assuming the latter, have you given any thought to how long you want it to be?

i once did a short story about tomb king as part of my work at school
it was i think 8m maybe 10 A4 pages long

and it just something to show why my armmy looks like it does

as of the past month i have been adding small amounts
of budgie sand (from all good pet shops) to the base of my sheilds
to give them a buried look

my fluff for a desert lizzardan army
tell me if it works or if it is crap feedback welcome

Klulak was leading a small band of lizzardmen into the Southern arts of the deserts of the land of the dead and with the heat as some lizzards do he and his force stopped to spoke up the heat.

While the slumbered a sand storm blue up around them and hen they woke and shock the sand of them they where lost in the desert.

and so they started on making a basic camp in witch to worship the old ones and carry on following them in this new land and so was the desert lizzards spawned

Sounds very original bud. Don't think I've seen a TK lizardman army before.

Lots of scope for some cool conversions too. smile.gif
