To create the awsome Ushabti, whose power would crush even the greatest army. Basic requirements were used to create Djarack. It needed a waepon to destroy, it needed armor to protect, it needed a body to do these things, and it needed a heart to become alive.....
Ptha was the greatest weaponsmith the ancient world will ever see, his skill would be praised even by the dwarves who generally sought themselves as the best. But because of it's location, none but his own people knew about Ptha. He became one that every King would go to since the creation of the god weapon, Destroyer of Eternities, the very weapon that made King Nekhesh unstoppable. But the fore father of the Destroyer of Eternities, it's prototype one could say.. was the Fang of Djaf. Djaf himselves was said to have visited Ptha and request Ptha to make the greatest blade ever crafted for his finist warrior. Ptha could not deny such an honor, in a frantic 17 days the weapon was created. An impossibly large ornate sword was offered to the Jackal god and in honor of the god he named it the Fang of Djaf. The jackal was furious when it was presented to him, no mortal alive could swing the weapon it's weight was far too much. In anger and spite, Djaf threw the blade, where it flew not even he knew. Discouraged, Ptha sought to suicide, but the great goddess Asaph stop him. She encouraged him to continue to create weapons, for the land of Khemri was headed towards darken days. Almost 100 years later, Djstera would enlightened of it's danger and with frantic praying, Djaf appeared, he commanded a Statue to be made one in his likeness.. when it is created it shall smote down all that opposed him.. but theree are items that have to be chosen carefully. The first of the four items to be recovered was the Fang of Djaf, buried deep in a great stone pillar. Next was the body, the body could not be carved out of random hardy stones as all the other Ushabti was it had to be a stone chosen by the gods. But with time running out how could they find it? Perhaps it was the work of the gods.. but a strange rumor speard throughout the land. A Stone of jet black was discovered. At first many scoffed at a simpleton's rumor Obsieden was common.. but upon further investigation they found the stone to be alive. A stonecutter forged a farming tool out of this stone, it seemed to work very well. The Stone was much harder then steel and could easily soften the hardest earth. yet in a freak accident the farmer cut himself with the tool, getting blood splashed onto the stone provided horrible truths to the rumor. The stone begun to seek out and crush the victum of which the blood was from. Upon herer this the prest set out the Stone, such feriocity from an inanimate object they reasoned, when it is transformed into an animate object the feriocity of it could rival Djaf! thus did they forged the body out of the stone... who took even more lifes as it was worked on.... To be continued |

Ah Mr_PieChee, my only fan *sniff sniff* i'll continue the story for those few that would read it.
The body fashioned, which alone was suffice to smite it's foes, a weapon was also given by the late Ptah. However, Living stone or not, it could still be destroyed. Thus a protection had to be seeked and given. Perhaps it was Djaf who intervined once again with the mortal world to suffice the humans with an item for survival. A mythical jackal was heard to roam the lands devouring entire villages, they knew this was no ordinary jackal for symbols of other worldly were scripted in on it's entire body, glowing a sinsiter red glow. Weapons that struck at the jackal was deconstructed into nothing, It took the champion of Djsetra to kill it, at the cost of his own life. Magical weapons were needed to skin the jackal's hide, and later harden into leather armour, the sheer size of the jackal was enough to create protection for the legs, arms, toros of Djarak. The vessel was done, but now it needed a soul to power it, this time there was no divine guidence to succeed this task. For even Djaf himself did not know the answer. Surely the other gods did, but they could not tell him lest he unleash the Ushabti King upon them. It was the mad priest Khanut, to find the answer. But when he found th answer he had asented to a new height of insanity, for he had discovered what could power the King. It would be known to mortals as Behelit. The Behelit was a tailsman of unfathomable power, the pure raw energy that emitted from it however was daemonic. When the Council of Djsetra knew about this, Khanut was banished for heretical magic.....Khanut was not heard from again..till the creation of another of his mad experiments.. the creation of Izaccar but that is another story. Left with no time and no other opitions the priests had no choice but to choose to use Behelit. The jet black stone absorbed it with a terrifying hunger....the priest were excited... at last the weapon shall come to life... but it sat upon it's throne unmoving... they were thunderstrucked. They invoke their incantations upon it but even with the entire gather council the most the statue ever moved was a twitch of a finger. The Behelit needed tremendous magic power to bring to life but it was missing one other ingredient... and ingredient only Khanut knew about. Djsetra was destroyed by the tempest called Arkhan the Black. But the most curious and sinister thing happened.... It seemed the priest who laid a hand on Djarak was absorbed whole, and blood poured from the eye sockets, snout, and mouth of the statue. AT last they understood, the Behelit required a physical energy sources, in this case the flesh of the living. When Arkhan found out and understood the property, he was excited to face a foe worthy of his skill. He cruelly used the priest as sacrifice for the Djarack. however even with the sacrifice of flesh it sat unmoving, disappointed Arkhan brought the temple crashing down around the Statue, still sitting on it's throne. Not long after, the waves of Nagash's greatest spell scourged the land, and sank deep into the ground, even beneath the ruin of the temple enough to bath Djarack in it. Impowered by the power of the spell, Djarack wielded the Fang of Djaf and cleared a path to the world above. The few survivors of the Council heard the thunder of the Ushabti king's roar, and rush to his summoning. Even Djaf himself became aware, with a fanged willed grin, Djaf knew his weapon was awake and woe to those that stand in it's way........ |

I like it alot. Sorry about the lack of replies on my part but my parents wanted me to stay off the internet *grumbles*. Oh well, I'm back. And as I said before: I like it!
Now of course you absolutely HAVE to make: 'The Conquests of the Ushabti King' Anyway, keep up the good work. Destroy the enemies of Khemri! |

It's been almost 6 years since this thread was last active. As such, I see no point in keeping this one open.
