Hey guys...I'm in a bit of a pickle thanks to GF9 deciding to (Seemingly) halt all production of their rubber steel sheeting. dry.gif

My question to you all is...Where can I go to get similar stuff, or what do you use to make your movement trays receptive to magnets?

Cheers! biggrin.gif

I'm using that too for my movement tray, you scared me here for a while, but I checked on GF9 site and there still there to buy. So maybe it's just the retailer you were buying from that stopped carrying it?

Or was it annonced somewhere that they'll stop to produce it? I hope not, otherwise I'll also have to find something else.

I just use cheapo magentic sheets from Michaels (don't remember name, but it was back by the yarn and other little fixins area). It was like $2 and was more than enough for all 60 of my archers. Then a rare earth magnet under each base and I was good to go. A big plus over the metal is that the magnetic bond is strong enough that nothing will move, but not too strong so as to snap all those thin little legs that skeletons have. Plus, it doesn't have the garish, ugly look of bare steel that so many people have it as.

Cheaper, better, prettier. Good enough for me!

I had my local store place an order for those rubber sheets from GF9 over 4 months ago and they still have had no word from them. I also just placed an order directly with GF9 myself about a week ago and haven't heard a single word. dry.gif

@Veritas - Thanks! I think there is still a Michaels around here somewhere...I'll go check it out!

Just for other people's benefit...I just found this guy on Ebay...might start buying trays from him..they look pretty solid...and aren't too badly priced.

I just use the normal GW movement trays, put down 1/2mm Gal sheet and then put magnets on all the bases of the models. Works a treat.
