Hey guys. I wanted to make a Chariot heavy list, and after some playing around I thought a Deathstar unit with support might work better than running multiple smaller units.
The list is magic light, relying mostly on Bound Spells and backed up by Warsphinxes and Cav. Let me know what you think. Tomb King on a Chariot - General -Sword of Anti Heroes -Shield -Armor of Destiny -Dragonbane Gem Tomb Herald on a Chariot - Battle Standard Bearer -Banner of the Undying Legion -Shield 10 Skeleton Chariots -Full Command -Banner of Swiftness (Unit deploys 4 models wide, 3 models deep. King and Command in the front rank, BSB in the 2nd rank) Lich Priest on Skeletal Steed - Hierophant -Level 2 -Dispel Scroll 7 Skeleton Horse Archers -Full Command 10 Skeleton Horsemen -Full Command 10 Skeleton Horsemen -Full Command Warsphinx -Fiery Roar Warsphinx -Fiery Roar Casket of Souls I'm concerned with the survivability of the Lich Priest's unit since he is the Hierophant. Though if he dies, the worst I really have to worry about is losing horsemen in that case, as the King's LD should keep the Chariots going and I'd keep the Sphinxes close to the BSB. Also I've never used Skeletal Horsemen before other than small drops and misdirectors (and Horse Archers do this better), so I'm unsure how these 10 man units will fare. |

Horse archers and hierophants don't really mix well, because 1) you can't deploy them together 2) you lose the fast cav rule when the character joins. Put your hierophant in a unit of horsemen with decent saves instead.
Please explain what you want to achieve with the horsemen. I think you need at least one unit of 5 horse archers to misdirect. |

I would rather have my Hierophant in a unit of horseman with 4+ armor save than horse archers that just get shot down. I took a similar list to a dark elves battle except I brought a setra deathstar and kept a warsphinx and a necrosphinx at each flank so I had 2 WS 7 T8 monsters just daring my opponent to come try and out maneuver with a flank charge. I intentionally put my heirophant in a precarious unit so he would direct his attention at destroying it and then watched his face drop when everything within 18 inches of setra tested on Leadership 10 and the Constructs autopass from being within 12 inches of the BSB
