Hi everybody!!

I am a new entry, a 21yrs old from italy and damned inloved of Ancient Egypt.

I know about a wonderful game called Warhammer 1 year ago so I decided to start a TK army, and it's my first experience in painting.

I don't want to make you be boring anymore so I'm glad to introduce you my army! I would welcome every advice, thoughts, everything about my work.

I want only point out that you may find some units not so beautiful (ex the chariots) as they were my first work and i had to practise. smile.gif

So here we are:

This is the entire army

I am now working on a Tomb Guard unit with the standard of the army. I would made it by myself with a paper of papyrus and then i will paint on the eye of horus.

As soon as it will be ready i will post the photos.

Hope you like my job. Tomb Kings FOREVER

Umberto

Hi Umberto, wecome to Khemri!

Loving your army mate, well done! smile.gif

I especially like all the little extras you've done to make your army special. The animal skins/blankets over the horses are cool (I do something similar on my light cav/chariots but I use GS/Milliput), and the bowstrings are a simple but very effective touch.

My favourite conversion is on Rameses' chariot though, I really like the feathers on the horses heads. Never seen that done before and it works really well. Kudos! smile.gif

Can't wait to see more pictures as your army progresses.

Thank you for the answer!

and for the question of amentu6, yes I use the first fiber i found at home, the cotton that my grandma uses to repair dresses smile.gif

I love the feathers on the horses' heads - excellent touch.

Are those components of fly fishing lures or something from a craft store? Where did you get them? They look great!

thanks for your answer guys!

well sincerely i create this army as to expose it in my room for my personal desire, not to play warhammer, I made only 2 match against a friend, here in Italy there aren't many place where you can play Warhammer with a lot of people, and it's quite far from home. so when assembling my army i didn t think about rules..... maybe in the future i will move to england more players more tournaments. Sounds good biggrin.gif

Hi lowermarionhs
That's truly a cool army, you got there. Our creative work gives it unique characteristics. I really like the archers -thought of doing the same to mine, if thats okay with you smile.gif .

How do you do your bone? It looks really clean and not "muddy"

Keep up the good work!

Thank you guys!!

Etos you are allowed to do everything you want.... wink.gif

I think this forum is a great way to inspire each other to create army the most beautiful as possibile!!

As about the bones, the bodies i made them with drywashing white over black, but skulls arms and legs i paint white catching directly from the colour box because while practising with the first skeletons i realize that you had to do 2 or 3 hand of drywashed white to obtain clean and bright bones.... this is my personal opinion smile.gif

i love the way your purple looks on your wapons. only thing is i thing his jewel on his chest could use a bit more work (more shades of red) but that could be the light/foto thats wrong

Love your work!

I was gonna put feathers on my horses too when I got them. Thought that would make them look more unique. Converting Egyptian looking things to Celtic looking things is a hard task, but I might still try it. I don't know...

Anyway, yeah, some great ideas there, looking pretty good.

Thanks,
Khonsu
