I know, this is a TK site and Warhammer board. Though many players play both 40k and Warhammer. Since Necrons are roughly the equivalent of Tomb Kings (although certainly much more evil) a thought crossed my mind.

Would it it be out of line to include a few forums for the Necron players out there? I have not seen a Necron forum out there. Hosting a few sections (40k general, Necron tactics, necron lists, and necron painting/convertings... might bring more people here. Some of them might not play Tomb Kings, but might still play fantasy so will take an interest in the fantasy emphasis on the site.

Edit: Regardless of your choice, I do ask you post something explaining your thoughts a little more fully.

Edit2: Don't do a null vote (view results) as it won't let you vote after doing so. I found that out the hard way! My vote is for, yes.

I voted no, when I come here it's to read/talk about Tomb Kings. We are a specialised forum and should stay like this.

I understand what your saying but I very much doubt that we'll attract a necron player to a fantasy board, there are fantasy sites out there that deal with multiple armies but not multiple systems. However there's nothing to stop you making up your own one and we could link ideas to it.

A: Constructive criticism - No one's right it's just their opinion
B: Proper full answers - don't just say it's rubbish, explain why (see A above)
C: Unrealistic lists - fun lists are all well and good but don't expect many comments unless you can prove you have the figures - you have how many Bone Giants?
D: Don’t expect a review of larger armies, as they have more troops available to them and more options available critiquing this kind of list is a somewhat mute point as there are too many variables and is usually done to personal opinion or army theme.
E: Taking criticism - Your opinion my differ from others, if you don't like it don't post your list for review. See A above.
F: Try not to state the obvious - we all know a chariot is pulled by a horse, don't waste space and list it - see Suggested format below.

Fair enough, I was a bit hesitant anyways.

Besides, for the hobbyist aspect we have the off topic painting section anyways.

No but for a different reason.

40k should stay with 40k.

However, that said this is a Warhammer board first and a specific Warhammer army board second. All to often people forget that.

I too prefer it to be fantasy only.

"Population" will increase with 8th edition and then even more so with the release of the new book.

As the others said, I prefer to keep this site for Fantasy only.

My guess is that there are many more Tomb Kings players out there, it just that they're waiting for the new book.

I can live with a 40k board on our forums, but I prefer to keep the forums in the way they are now.

I voted "maybe"

This pretty much sums up my thoughts too, hence the 'no' vote.

OK guys, this poll has been up for a while now, to be honest not many people have voted considering the overall number of members we have but there is a feeling that we'd put necrons in a separate section - however there is a significant swing to say that this should remain a pure fantasy site, therefore there will be no amendment to the forum list and we will carry on normal jogging.

All the best
