Golden Ankh II
I'll be running the next painting contest starting soon. It will focus on the newer models, and be a bit more open ended. Webzine Also, I'd like to see what interest there is in running a webzine and who would be willing to work on it. I'm not looking to run it myself, but I can help with advice and such with my experience with the Word of Hashut. So I would need the following positions at minimum: Webzine Pharoah Basically someone to oversee the webzine. Plan it out, get people to get their submissions in, get it to the editors, etc, etc. This would require someone who is willing to dedicate themselves quite a bit to this endeavor. Editor: At least one, three at most. This would be someone who could proof read it with the wraith of an English professor, and make it look professional. Here, I'm more than willing to be the main editor. I've done a lot of editing for the Word of Hashut, and when I set my mind to it I can be rather good at that task. I blame having an English teacher for a mother. Artists: The more the better. I'd rather have too much art, than none at all. I might be able to get some support from CDO as there are a couple people who just love art for the sake of art. I'd still prefer to draw from our community, as it is our project. Writers: We need people are willing to write a regular article or two. For example someone to write a tactical piece, another a painting guide, etc, etc. Some folks might write randomly, perhaps on a topic they can cover well: IE I might write an article on Chaos Dwarfs and fighting them. Story tellers: I think it'd be nice to fit a tiny bit of stories into this, purely for a fun feeling of fluff. These could be ancient Nehekaran legends, the lsot history of Nehekara, to the present Warhammer world. Perfect outlet for creativity. Irregular writers: Battle reports, for example. Reviews of other armies. Any number of things can fit in here. -------------------- |

I'd be interested in:
Writing Story Telling Editing All this would be pending more details on the expectations. I am a published writer, have Photoshop and web skills, and love Tomb Kings. Plus, my real life job is in communications. I am responsible for creating communications plans, handling all aspects of publishing a corporate e-newsletter, and working with diverse people in video script writing, production and editing. -------------------- True scholars have more than just one book to study.

I'd be willing to edit. I majored in journalism though it is not my current career path.

I'm willing to help out, I just don't think I have the skills to pull it off.
I could write the occasional story or batrep, though. --------------------

I'll help with whatever is needed, although I can't draw for crap. If they invent a way to get pictures in your head automatically to a piece of paper then I'll be an artist :3

I can sketch like hell, am familiar with all current armies, and can paint to a half-decent standard. I can tell stories as well, but I can't make up names. I need foundations, but with that, I can work miracles with words.

I draw a little... Could help with the odd pic here and there, if required... Though I never drawn Warhammer Fantasy stuff, I think I could.

He was active on the 4th Feb - doesn't mean this is going to happen, up to him really.
Will leave the topic closed until further notice. Cbt -------------------- Clickable links below.
Tomb King Armies Forum Moderator guide lines armies forum, summary below A: Constructive criticism - No one's right it's just their opinion B: Proper full answers - don't just say it's rubbish, explain why (see A above) C: Unrealistic lists - fun lists are all well and good but don't expect many comments unless you can prove you have the figures - you have how many Bone Giants? D: Don’t expect a review of larger armies, as they have more troops available to them and more options available critiquing this kind of list is a somewhat mute point as there are too many variables and is usually done to personal opinion or army theme. E: Taking criticism - Your opinion my differ from others, if you don't like it don't post your list for review. See A above. F: Try not to state the obvious - we all know a chariot is pulled by a horse, don't waste space and list it - see Suggested format below. Suggested format of your armies Rules book changed July 10th 2010 - all army lists should be based on this 8th Edn My Current 2000 point army My Entire Army as at 10/08/2007 6th edition changed to 7th on the 9th September 2006 |
