Probably the whole drawing, I'd guess. I assume the drawings are normally done with the tablet so they can easily be digitally colored, whereas the one drawn on paper was colored by hand since it would have been easier.

Actually, the digi-art is penciled and inked by hand, then colored on the computer. I use the tablet for entirely digital pictures and doodles, since I'm not as talented with it as I am with traditional media. Also, I used it in this case to go over the lines in the picture (which took forever since it kept disconnecting itself, and I still only got the outline done) so I could put it on the background.

So yeah. That's what I use it for.
