7,000+dl's and no posts? WTF?!!!, who has watched our Fuyu?

So seriously, did any of you guys actually watch it, or was it just me ming and Sana? ^^;.

Yuppers. I'm feeling a little out in the cold here, since I personally think Fuyu is probably our best project to date, and not only that - IT'S A GOOD SHOW! I find the historical stuff really interesting, and ok, so it's got some yaoi, but hey, even without that, it's a quality anime period drama.

So yeah... please take a sec to share your thoughts. Or at least post and say "Hell yes, I watched it!".

Hm, maybe they are just shy? I heard yaoi fans are like that :D Anyways, I haven't watched it myself yet, partially because I'm slightly scared, but mostly because I did not have the time yet. Probably after I catched up with a few other series I'm watching, but I will watch it eventually.

There's no real yaoi until ep2. Actually I was almost convinced that there would be no yaoi... but oops, there it was, LOL. The yaoi itself was kind of awkward. I even found the kissing a little unappealing (those smacking noises just don't do it for me). But at least it's only one scene. Given the way things are going, I can't imagine there'll be any more yaoi. If there is I'd like to see how they can pull that off without it being completely distasteful... :-/

Well....I THOUGHT YOU WERE TERRIFIC in doing the subs and the OVA was as touching as the manga was :D

I guess I didn't like that art so much, it's not Nitta's style but honestly the sheer cutness and fluffiness of it all MORE than makes up for the art. :D

Now to wait for the next one *sighs* I originally thought there was only going to be two but now I know that there is going to be 3 OVAs so I'm very happy :D

Man, I was kinda dissapointed when I found out there'd only be 3 eps. I thought there'd be 4 or 6... guess that's a little much to expect from a yaoi ova though ^^;

O_O But I loved it! I mean I'm a yaoi fan...and euhm..well yeah guess we are a bit shy to post ina forum where yaoi isn't the only thing?

I totally agree. A full length series is probably needed to properly capture the range of emotions and drama covered in that particular manga. If it were me trying to turn it into a proper TV series, I would cut out the major yaoi and leave that to the imagination and just concentrate on the drama and plot. But then again I guess there just isn't enough of a market for that kind of thing, particularly on commercial TV. Shame really, considering that quite a few yuri-hinting shows make it to more than 3eps...

I just can't wait for the next one! I hope they end up together or it would be a major disappointment! anyways, thanks for the subbing! I love it and I love you!

i thought the story is interesting. although i'm not really in to yaoi... so the 2nd episode actually grossed me out a little. hahaha. sorry... no offence... but still.. yea.. its a good anime. i can't wait for the final installment to come out

Thanks for the sub and your hard work! Winter Cicada is one of the most beautiful Yaoi anime ever :) You can really feel the love that grew between the characters by their conversations and interactions. They didn't expect to fall in love with each other and when they realised it, it was really touching :)

Yeah ep 2 was something - that had to be one of the most intense love scenes I've ever seen in an anime or otherwise. It was also a very touching love story - too bad it wasn't a longer series...
