Saiunkoku Monogatari Season 2

I sure missed a lot in just one day. Honestly Sunny-Sun, I don't think anyone should jump on you or anyone else for an opinion. Sometimes we tend to forget that everyone is entitled to think what they think and all opinions should be respected, even during passionate debates. I certainly do not think you are slefish or being a brat. Ok maybe a little selfish..tehe...

Sunny san it's easy to accuse people of selective reading whilst doing the same yourself.

My reply wasn't a personal attack but I was simply stating my opinion as forcefully as you stated yours. I would in turn refer to you the entirety of my reply as you haven't responded to anything except to get melodramatic.

I think it's no use speculating or demanding anything here. The girls will do what they want and as far as I know they will continue with season 1. There are still people who are waiting on the kiss subs and their patience should be rewarded. Plus I personally hate changing the sub group in the middle of a series, I rather wait for my fav. group to continue, even if it takes ages (Hello Kraze! :D ).

Eventhough I dissagree with both of you I still said its all up to Kiss-Subs. You people seem a little hardheaded on the fact of watching the subs from a different group, the only thing I can agree with is that kiss-sbus does have better quality, but I think its a bit selfish that everyone would to wait months (that is if no other group takes the project) just because you perfer anothers group subs that the other; knowing it already has a bit of time of being subbed.

You said calm down yet say (I rather wait for my fav. group to continue, even if it takes ages). Like I said before if you can wait ages you don't have enough interest in the anime like everyone else who really wants season 2 to be subbed. Noticing that kiss-subs' subbing of season 1 is very ambiguous.

I believe I said that it if I responded, it would lead to a never-ending cycle of bitter words (yes, slightly exaggerating here, but you know what I mean) that, in the end, would achieve nothing. Except to make the staff annoyed, maybe. And I don't want that.

Here's an idea. Have you guys stopped and considered what the staff might be thinking? Perhaps they themselves haven't watched the subs by We Suck or Shadow Dreams. Plus, wolfmier did say in the other thread that the only reason that she (?) continues to fansub is because of SaiuMono. After that statement, I can't believe you suggested that she should just drop her treasured project just because it has been done by another group already. Of course, she didn't say specifically season 1, but she also did say that they were working on seasons 1 AND 2 at their own pace. If I were the fansubber in question, I would certainly be angry. And if you were in the forums of a group like Shinsen, you would probably have been shot down already.

And bronxkid, there's nothing "ambiguous" about Kiss Sub's subbing of season 1. It is on the active projects list, and therefore is actively being worked on. Simple, I should think. :)

@ Blaze, hahaha. True, so true. But they're really fast for Seirei no Moribito though. I am happy just for that, ahahaha.

It seems to me like you really want us to get on kiss-subs bad side, which is not the case. I understand you really want to watch kiss-subs version but your manner of speach is to selfish. To make myself clearer its not that I really want them to drop season 1, but I do want them to give more consideration to season 2. The reason I used the word ambiguous was because its process is unclear. Its active yet nothing has been released in some time. Although they said they are working on both season at there own pace, they also said Lovely Complex has their most attention right now, so Saiunkoku Monogatari is something they would do in their spare time, well that's what I understand from it.

You've gone from personal reasons- ie you don't want to wait, to touting the fan subbers feelings to try and make yourself look better.

That's what is making people bitter here.

It's not as if we are demanding Kiss Subs drop everything and just work on S2. We are suggesting it. But we'd respect whatever decision Kiss Subs made about it even if we didn't like it.

Also this is a suggestions and comments forums, I'm suggesting that they subbed S2 sooner than later. What's to get angry in that? And that comment was unfair to the Shinsen group, they aren't intolerant die hards either.

It would be nice though if the mods could settle this... I mean are they going to consider/willing to consider our suggestion; the possibility of doing S2 faster or just keep doing their own thing? That would end this once and for all.

I'm sorry if my way of speaking irritates you guys. Its not my intention to do so, but since you guys feel that way, I humbly apologise. Blame it on my upbringing, if you must, I won't judge you for it. ;)

I am not trying to make myself look better either. If that's how it comes off, then I'm sorry for making myself look like a boot-licker. Its neither in my, nor your, best interests in to be one.

Sigh, I really shouldn't have made that comment in the first place, I agree. It was uncalled for, and for that, I humbly apologise to both bronxkid and Ishtar. I shall attempt to pass it off as exam stress, but that doesn't weaken my apology in any way.

And I agree. I don't want to (or feel like) continue this debate. From now, I shall fade back into my lurker state, awaiting news for Kiss. Rest assured, you won't see much more of me, in this particular thread anyway.

Okay, people. This is enough. Before this gets any worse, I will close this thread. The KissSub girls will continue Saiun at their own pace. No speculation will do anything about it, same goes for asking them to skip it completely in favor of S2.

Sorry but I can't even be bothered to read all of this crap. To set the record straight, Saiun was initially started as a side project since ming and I both love the series. It was never, and still is not a primary project. I refuse to watch anyone elses subs of Saiun, so I'm going to keep working on them as I get through them. Ming has been doing her part, but I'm sitting on about half a dozen eps which I'm finalising in my own time. A couple are close to being ready to go, but right now, since LoveCom is our primary project, that takes priority. If people have been following subs fromurre other groups who have now dropped the show, they'll just have to wait. There is no way we're going to move straight to season 2, and that's the final word on it.
