Book Ninja Group: Moderators Posts: 1,664 Member No.: 3 Joined: 28-June 08	I love this series. It's a great mix of gossip and gowns. It's got a sort of mystery running through it from the very beginning. It's historical, but it's still fresh. Lot's of lies, betrayal and romance. Good stuff.

Apparently, it was so huge that they couldn't get it to stay fluffed out, so they started putting things under it. Big things, like chairs and blankets and people. Yep, there are people under there. It's funny, because you look at the cover and think how beautiful the dress is, but underneath it is the entire contents of the room they shot the photo in.

(Definitely worth getting the hardcover, but they're always so much more expensive than the paperbacks!) I love that it's kind of like Gossip Girl, yet set in 1899! So clever!

I loved that they used the gossip collumn of the newspaper as "gossip girl". It really is a very clever concept.
