Werecats(Stray,Rogue) by Rachel Vincent

I know a few people here have read these books. And just in case anyone doesn't know, I'm completely obsessed with them. I mean, come on...WERECATS!!





About the books:

Faythe is a tough girl. She's a college student trying to live a normal life, but she has a secret. She is belongs to a pride of shapeshifting werecats. Females are very rare, so she is expected by her family to stay close, follow the rules and be a good little kitty. Unfortunately, that is not how Faythe wants to live her life. She wants to be free to chose her own destiny.

One night she is attacked and forced to return home because another tabby was also attacked and abducted. She leaves school and her boyfriend to return to the pride where her x-boyfriend and a former friend are fighting for her affections. The pressures begin to get to her own pride may get her into deadly trouble. There are bodies turning up everywhere, and Faythe may the next target. It's time to stop the killer or become a victim.

These books are action-packed and full of suspense. The characters are amazing and the love triangle will have you chosing a side. I highly recommend this series. It's fine for older teens. It's very intense, but totally addictive.

Book 3, Pride will be released in February. I can't WAIT!!!

By the way, I *heart* Jace. Marc is way too controlling

You know I love this series. It is such a good story. Especially when she describes them transforming for the first time it is amazing.

Faythe just has to start stopping and thinking before she does anything. That is what gets her into most of the trouble.

I am looking forward to reading Pride to find out what happens in the council. (I know that isn't much of a spoiler don't want to wreck for anyone that hasn't read it).

this is one of my favorite series. I heart Jace

Faythe is going to give me a heart attack! It's a good thing she's a cat and has 9 lives!

I'm actually nervous about the next book. I know there are at least 5 books in the series, but I still wonder how things are going to work out.

It's kind of funny, but poor Jace seems to be clinging to life by a thread at the end of each book. In Stray he was beat up and in Rogue, shot. It's always Faythe's fault too. But he does it all for her, it shows his devotion to her. I know he's not the one she will probably end up with, but she should. I just feel so bad for him. Especially when he ran into her in the hallway in Stray and she had Marc's shirt on. I actually felt his heart break. Yet he never gives up. I really hope he is in Pride more. He's such a great character and I love how he interacts with evryone.

Hopefully I'll read it really fast. I'm racing Devon, but I think she had a head start. I had to stay at work while she started it...

ah, You probley have caught to me! I got a little sidetracked with tax filing, but then again there is superbowl sunday where I know you won't be reading! I will read a little !

So far, it's REALLY good I'm so antsy because of tomorrow that I'm having trouble focusing on reading right now, but I think I'll try to relax and hopefully finish it before KICK-OFF!!!

Ok, Marc is starting to grow on me. I always thought he was too controlling but he has lightened up. I suppose it's what makes him a good enforcer. Faythe obviously cares about him a lot, too. It's a shame things never seem to work out for them. Oh, well. I still like Jace, he's pretty cool.

Oh, and the addition of Kaci will be very interesting. I kind of had a feeling that she was the one who killed her family. It's really sad that it happened, but it wasn't her fault, she had no idea what was going on. Could you imagine if you just turned into a giant cat one day...wait...actually, that would be pretty awesome.

Now we have to wait out ANOTHER cliffhanger!! I love this series!!

I really liked the addition of Kaci and am glad we're going to get to see more of her.
