Book signing in Swansboro North Carolina, Hometown of my book's main topic

Hello Everyone:

If you are in the area of Swansboro North Carolina on August 26th, stop by the Book Shelf book store between 11am and 1pm. The book store is located at 208 Main street (walking distance front historic Front Street).

Since the topic of my book, Captain Otway Burns And His Ship Snap Dragon, was born and raised in this small southeastern N.C. town, the local citizens are beaming with joy about a book being published dealing with one of their forefathers and local legends.

Captain Burns was a successful but, hunted War of 1812 Privateer (not Pirate), demanding businessman and shipbuilder. Later in life he served as a State legislator with a controversial voting record that eventually altered the course of North Carolina's political structure.

Hello Everyone:

The book signing that I had on September 26th for my book, Captain Otway Burns And His Ship Snap Dragon, was so successfull that the owner and manager asked me to come back in October.

My new book signing is on Friday the 13th of October. This is the day before the town of Swansboro's (N.C.) famous Mullet festival. People come to town a day ahead of the festival and shop in the local stores. Fun for all.


I will keep you updated on the results of this latest book signing.

By the way, for the ones who do not know, a Mullet is a fish.

Hello everyone

I will be pretty busy over the next three weeks. I have a book signing today in the hometown of my book's main subject, Captain Otway Burns--hunted War of 1812 Privateer (not Pirate).

I have a two day book signing at Topsail Island festival on the 21-22. Thousands of people will be coming to the shores of North Carolina to the activities.

I have a historical lecture and book signing on November 2, to a local club who wants me to talk about our local history and give them tips on how to preserve their documents, images, and histories --

I will get some photographs and update you all as things progress.
