Well, I have a lot to say right now... and the first thing is... Happy birthday darkringer! I hope you have fun now being twenty-one! That's when you can start drinking in the US. Legally.

Anyway, maybe some of you have been wondering for a while, "Where the heck have you been, Whizz?" and the answer is that times are a changin'. School is winding down and my Pearl version has taken over much of my free time. There have been a few family crisises in the past few months and it has definitely taken away from my computer time. And as summer is right around the corner I want to take the time to hang with friends and work on my own personal goals. As many of you know, if you've ever told me that you were going away due to something IRL, I have always said that RPing always comes second to your actual life.

It's just that, and don't take this the wrong way, I just feel like moderating is a chore. I feel bombarded with members doing this and that and profiles and yada yada yada, and it isn't as fun as I thought it'd be when Ludicolo's Lake started a year ago. So, I have thought about this decision for a long time and I have come up with an answer: I have to step down from moderation. As much as I love controlling you ants like a kid with a magnifying glass, it's too much work that I don't wanna do.

Don't fret now: Ludicolo's Lake will stay open if we get anyone willing to own it. I have given darkringer and Akaken Administrator status due to the amount of time and devotion they spend in making this site what it truly is. I want to leave it to you two to figure out what to do with the site. If neither of you want to run it, I would like an heir that has been a long time devoted member of the site to become admin. It would please me to no end. I would also like to keep the roleplay experience the same (or at least keep the region and gym leaders) and I would still like administation acess incase I want to do something special.

I am not leaving Ludicolo's Lake; I am becoming its member. I will still be around; it's just that someone else will give out promos and hold Matyana Idol and make the new rules... oh I feel so bad for saying this. There's still a part of me that doesn't want to go, but I know I have to.

I would like this message to stay up for a little while so all of the regulars can read it, and then Akaken or darkringer can open the site again.

EDIT by Darkringer: Because of Whizzkidd's absense, and Akaken taking yet another unknown leave, this site has become about as deserted as anything else that's deserted. Because of this, I will take the board offline. However, I shall leave Admin permission to Whizzkidd and Akaken for them to re-open the site should they so choose. If either of you two come back and re-open the site, give me a PM, and I'll return as well.
