((So it's been a while since I've done anything here (hell, I didn't do all that much to begin with) mostly because a virus ate away my laptop and it's taken me a pretty long time to get a new one. Anyway, I'm posting this here for a reason. Here's the start of something I'm thinking about elaborating on; it's working on the same base ideas the epilogue universe uses, but it takes place in a separate universe (I guess is a good way to describe it). I've only written one paragraph so far, and here it is, let me know what you think!))

Prologue

It’s not a dark and stormy night. I’m not sitting in a smoke filled club at the end of the ally. No, I’m sitting in my halfway nice apartment, doing... nothing really. My roommate, Lenny, is out doing who gives a shit what. I act like I’m pissed that he’s out so much, but really I guess I might be jealous or something. I just moved here, to Gadem City; I don’t know anyone and I don’t really care to meet them. I’m not the outgoing type, so all I’ve really done is sit here, for almost a straight month. It’s a pretty damn heavy contrast to what I used to do. My name’s John, and a while ago, I was called Tornado Man.

You need a bit more before anyone can give you any real criticisms.

First off, though, is the whole "secret identity" thing the team scene uses is confusing and passe. If you're gonna be, say, Tornadoman, you should just have tornado in yer story instead of a "real name".
