Megaman X: Advent Mission

[Kolor]

In a place that can be best described as the middle of nowhere, Quantum and Bob 'port in, surrounded by sand, a few rocks, and more sand.

"I know the trigger is around here somewhere..."

Quantum looks around, scratching his head.

"Bob, look for a small black rock that can't be moved. Darn sandstorms cover it up every time."

[Drayconis]

Bob beeps an acknowldge ment, wlaks five steps, and trips over a small black rock. He gets up, beeps in rage and starts tasering it. When that has no effect he starts in with the flamethrower as well.

[Kolor]

"Dude, you found it already! And don't bother, it's as close to indestructible as they come. Not to mention we need it, since it's the doorbell."

Quantum kneels down next to the rock, and starts tapping it in the pattern for "Visitor, escorted. No security required. Mission successful."

After a few seconds, a humming sound can be heard, and a portal of sorts opens a few feet from the rock.

"C'mon, Bob. Let me show you around."

Quantum steps through the portal, which transports him a few hundred feet underground, in a metal lined corridor of a well built base.

[Drayconis]

Bob shrugs (how.. i have no idea, it's not like he has shoulders.) And follows Quantum through and whistles an (Ooo SHiny) at the base.

[Kolor]

"Isn't it though? That's what happens when you have the most intelligent people in the world do something together. Now, check this out."

Quantum walks up to a blank wall, then taps on it.

"Quantum reporting in, mission successful. Open drawer for delivery of packages."

A drawer appears in the wall, sliding out.Quantum removes his far too small belt pouch and puts it in the drawer, and it slides shut.

"Additionally, give full base access to my visitor, Security Level 1."

Quantum grins down at Bob.

"There, now there won't be much trouble. Whatcha want to do, a full tour, game of tag, or catch, or just tear around like madmen and get in as much trouble as possible?"

[Drayconis]

Bob looks at him.

Bob: Beep booo bip (translation: the last one)

[Kolor]

"Sounds like a plan! Last one to the end of the hallway is scrap metal!"

Quantum takes off down the hallway, playfully bouncing off of the walls and ceiling in the process.

[Drayconis]

Bob jumps up and activates his jets, turning them on full blast, scorching random plants behind him in a n effort tocatch up.

[Kolor]

Quantum activates his own version of 'jets,' namely fusing the air immediately behind his feet and thereby increasing his lead.

[Drayconis]

Bob whips out his taser and shoots Quantum in the back, hopefully slwoing him down.

[Kolor]

Quantum spins in the air once and lands not-quite-gracefully, stumbling a few steps before regaining his balance and approaching the end of the inordinately long hallway.

"Ow! If that's how you want to play..."

Quantum snaps his fingers, again increasing the friction on the air in front of Bob, but this time much more... to the point of negating the force of his boosters and bringing him to a standstill.

Quantum suddenly stops as well, staring off into space past the futilely struggling Bob.

"Sorry buddy, work to do. Some battle,and some really weird signals at the edge. Here's the coords if you want to come with."

Quantum snaps his fingers, releasing Bob, then rattles off a quick string of numbers, teleporting out before Bob can get a beep in.

[Drayconis]

Bob floats in the air, randomly shooting of flames and bolts of elctricity beeping wildly,

[Kolor]

Quantum teleports back in a few feet behind Bob, which turns out to be a mistake. After receiving a bolt of lightning to the chest and some flames to the face, Quantum grabs Bob by the helmet and shakes him a bit.

"Chill, little dude! I'm back already."

Quantum sets Bob down on the floor while a cable snakes out of the wall and taps him on the shoulder. Quantum tilts his head and snaps it back and forth, allowing the cable to plug into a previously hidden port to download the gathered information.

"Remind me not to go investigate strange signals anymore, that one could have been BAD."
