Megaman X: Advent Mission

Neo suddenly appeared in a lush rainforest outside a great temple. The Hunters he was just sending to the shuttle were appearing around him. He did a head count, and only a handful survived. But there was one Hunter missing....

Neo: Delta. DELTA!

Neo did a scan of the area for Delta's signal...Nothing but dust and echoes

Neo: That...fool!! Why did he stay? Everyone, listen up!

Neo looked at his Hunters. They were all weary and tired. He could see the fatigue. Good thing they were only a short distance from the Base

Neo: They are under my command now. I cant fail Delta...

As Neo examined the Hunters, he heard some rustling in the bushes. He scanned the area again, and picked up Maverick signals.

Neo: Defensive positions men!

Out of the trees came 20 Mavericks, led by Atlas and Azrael

Atlas: We have you now. Prepare to die!

As Atlas was uttering those words, over the horizon came a stampede of Humans, with the Voyager in front of them

Neo: Damn. Bad timing.

Neo did another head count...including the Mavericks this time. He figured that if they worked together, they could stop the Humans. Or at least hold them back long enough for reinforcements....

Neo: Atlas, Azrael! Let us combine forces, just this one time. We must stop the crazed Humans. What say you?!

Atlas looked upon the Human storm, and looked back to Neo, a grim look in his eyes

Atlas: As much as I hate it, we must. Let us fight. Brethren, to stop the parasite that is the Humans. To the death men!

Atlas made a cutting motion in the air, signaling a rush to the Humans

Neo: Brothers...yes... Men. Look at us. See not an enemy to your side, or back. The enemy...Neo points towards the Humansis there!!! Go!

Neo pulled his sword, and raced alongside the Mavericks and his Hunters. The Reploids were a wave of death, a nightmare the Humans would not soon forget

[Tvae]

(Back on the satellite a ways...)

Tvae was enjoying the failing gravity immensely. He had started a duel with one of the few remaining mavericks on the ship (think matrix - slow-mo, flying at each other shooting). However, right when they made contact, the satellite disappeared from around him, leaving the maverick behind, and making him appear horizontally about 10 feet above the ground.

Tvae: Son of a...

He hit the ground hard, causing him to lay there for a second before he succeeded in standing.

Tvae: So... what happened...?

He looked up and saw a giant explosion rock the sky. Although he assumed it was the satellite, he didn't have time to ask, since at that moment a group of mavericks came out and surrounded them.

Atlas: We have you now. Prepare to die!

Before he had a chance to raise his rifle, an army of humans stormed over the horizon.

Neo: Atlas, Azrael! Let us combine forces, just this one time. We must stop the crazed Humans. What say you?!

Atlas: As much as I hate it, we must. Let us fight. Brethren, to stop the parasite that is the Humans. To the death men!

Tvae: Great, fighting along side our enemies... what's next, cows which shoot laser beams from their eyes...?

He shook his head, raised his rifle, took aim, and began unloading shots into the quickly advancing human forces.

Blade appeared near the temple worried and confused scanning for delta was an option but when he checked his sensors failed him.....He switched to his eyes human eyes that have not seem action in many years but have been well cared for by cyber technology

Blade:Damn can't see much through the forest but I'm sure Delta isn't here.

Blade took off in the opposite direction of the shooting he was to hurt to help out and more deaths would not be good for his conscious but passing through the temple grounds the sight of Delta and X and Zero and all the great heros Blade turned around and dashed into the forest.

Blade:Neo what the hell is going on!?Why are we working with the mavericks?Where is Delta and why are the humans attacking?

As Blade finished his questions that fell on deaf ears he was shot in the back and all his sensors fell offline he was knocked unconscious.

[Nevindar]

Nevindar: ... !

Nevindar: Oh, damn!

Nevindar opens his eyes, saw a vast explosion in an endless sea of nothing, looking around, he noticed everything was upside down

Nevindar: What the... *Smack!* He falls down from the tree and lies on his back on the ground

Nevindar: Damn...

He rises up and notices a sudden commotion nearby. The surviving mavericks seemed to be charging the hunters who where still alive

Nevindar: Great...

Suddenly a large force of humans came charging from another direction

Nevindar: Aw, come on! Even greater...

Dray ports in from teh scrapyard. And looks at teh last vesitges of teh sattellite explosion.

Dray: Damn, health benefits suck but NOTHING beats the job satisfaction I get.

He laughs as he stands up and looks at his surrounds. A ways away he hears teh shouts of a battle starting.

Dray: Ooo, wonder If I can get in on that?

He arrives in time to see Neo and Atlas agree to work together against the humans and watches as teh two sides clash.

Dray: Whoo should I fight for.... Hmm... I think... Me? Kill both sides? HELL yes.

He jumps down laughing as he whips out his twin sabers, falling into a group of humans. blood and gore fly as he tears into (sometimes literally... he bites) their ranks. Soon he manages to figh his way to a hunter/maverick squad.

Random Maverick Fodder: Hey! We need all teh help we can get against the humans, so turn your ass around and get back into tehir lines!

Dray smiles wickedly and stabs the hunter and maverick on either side of the one who spoke in the head and laughs.

Dray: I have no "side" And I take my orders from NOONE!

He laughs as he bites down on the hapless reploids neck, and then rips out teh circuitry in its neck.

Dray: God DAMN I love being me!

He laughs as he switches his sabers for two pistols from his bag, he stands in teh middle of a small circle of dead bodies and looks at both sides staring at him,

Dray: So instead of asking who wants to die, I'll cut to teh chase and say EVERYONE!

As he laughs the laugh of the mentally unbalancd he fires into both sides, Human and Reploid.

[Vincent Valentine]

Suddenly a hand touches Dray's shoulder and then a large beam sword appears coming out of his gut, then instantly pulled out, leaving a large open gash in his armor

Devon Whispering in his ear: I don't give a crap if the humans are the enemies today, you killed delta, I kill you.

Devon punches Dray right in the face, sending him to the ground

Devon Turning to Neo I have an unfinished score to settle.

Devon runs to the fallen Dray, sword to his side



~Somewhere out in the distance from the war~

???: Wow. Another battle. But this time we have humans on the evil side. Interesting.

The white-robed reploid gets closer to the fight, the hunters and mavericks barely winning, but the humans fighting as hard as they can

???: Looks like the reploids are going to lose this war. Quantity beats Quality in this world. I guess I'll help out the reploids today.

The reploid holds up his sword and a huge firey aura appears around him and then disappears, changing his white robe to red and his sword to have a fire on it's edge

Calypso: This is going to be fun.

Calypso jumps from the ledge he was standing on and shoots a large beam of fire mixed in with plasma energy and it annihilates a line of humans in the frontlines, allowing him to get in the middle

Calypso: Heheh.

Calypso's red robe turns back to normal and immediately, an electric aura surges around him, changing his robe to yellow and his sword into pure electricty

Calypso: Lets go.

[Icefish]

Galeon appeared in the rainforest a little disoriented. After all, he had just been about to jump out of a falling satellite not ten seconds ago.

Galeon: "What the?"

Lexius: "Everyone was teleported away from the satellite. But....we've lost Delta's signal."

Galeon's brow furrowed as a pressure inside him began to build up. He looked over the ridge he had appeared on in time to see the three way brawl begin, complete with Neo's speech. The pressure inside him continued to build up.

Galeon: "This...this isn't right."

Lexius: "Galeon?"

The pressure inside Galeon burst through.

Galeon: "Lexius, send me the Dividing Driver."

Lexius: "But..."

Galeon: "DO IT!"

Lexius: "....okay. It should be there in a few seconds."

Several seconds later, a shining object was flying through the air. Galeon used the thrusters on his back to fly up to it. The reflective material on the object peeled away, revealing a flat-bladed chisel attacked to an orange cylindrical gauntlet.

Galeon: "ARM CONNECT!"

Galeon stuck his left arm into the object. A click told him that it was connected. He checked the energy meter on the tool, making sure that it was full. Looking down, Galeon corrected his angle and dove straight into the center of the slaughter.

Galeon: DIVIDING DRIVER!!

Galeon struck the ground with the Dividing Driver. Its chisel head glowed as the energy meter was drained. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the ground began to move. The space around the ground warped itself, opening up a giant hole and separating the three armies from each other. Galeon hovered in the center of the hole, his thrusters keeping him aloft.

Galeon: "What do you think you're doing? This won't help anyone!"

Galeon turned to face Neo.

Galeon: "We can't fight this sort of battle. We need to return to base and regroup!"

[Drayconis]

(OOC: Oh vince.. your gonna pay fr that one...)

Dray back flips up (gaping hole in his gut and all) while summoning his massive Draton to replace his twin sabers. As he grabs it, dark flame envelops him and teh now black crystilline blade.

Dray: That hurt bitch. Lemme repay you!

He twists sideways to avoid Devon's charge and grabs him on the chest, sending a blast of black energy into his body. While not as dramatic as a saber through the gut it does leave a rather large wound. Dray leans in, (cause he's hold on pretty hard.)

Dray: i didnt kill your general. Wanted to, but I didnt get teh chance, I want him alive as much as you do... More... Tehn I can kill him in a proper fight!

He laughed and threw devon backwards ten feet and stands their, surrouned by a dark fiery aura, sword in hand waiting.

[Nevindar]

Drawn to the large commotion, something ancient and evil was getting closer. A few meters away a few hunters, humans and mavericks a small distance away from the real battle, where fighting each other

Hunter A: Take this! Fires a plasma ball at a nearby human

Human B: Obsolete pice of crap! Narrowly dodges the blast and fires back

Maverick C: Gets hit by the ball the hunter fired GRAH! DAMN HUNTER! F**CK THIS ALLIANCE! Fires at bothe the human and hunter

Hunter A: Who gets his shoulder grazed Damn mavericks! Knew they could- Suddenly a ball of reddish "stuff" hits the hunter on his back, quickly spreading and eating away at his armor.

Hunter A: Wh-what theeEAA GYAAAHH!! AAARRRGH!! AAAAAAAA~AA!!! Grlghrl...

The red mass spread across his whole body, reformatting and altering his "brain"

Human B: What the hell!? The human looked slightly frightened and backed away a few steps, but the mavercik noticed the one standing around near the shadows

Maverick C: YOU! STOP HIDING! And fired a coupel of plasma shots, hitting the assailant but showing no effect. The "reploid" walked out from the shadows. The sight of it was quite unnerving, since it looked like something from an old horror movie with all the fleshlike substance covering it

???: ... Paartss ... Reesisting... self is whole... futile...

Human B: Oh god! What is that! Tripping backwards, falling on his back, near the dead hunter crap! crap! The hunter suddenly grabbed the humans ankel spreading the bloodred mass on to him. But instead of spreading and breaking down the brain processor, the humans started to dissolve into more of the red mass, combining with the hunter

Human B: No! NOO! NOOUAAARGH! AAAAAAA~AAaarrghl...

Hardly taking any notice in the fate of the human, the maverick was looking straight at the thing

Maverick C: Bah, Damn wuss! YOU ARE MINE!

The maverick jumped at the thing with drawn beam sword, but before reaching it, a tendril shot out from the humans "body" grabbing his leg, dragging him into the pile of biomass.

Maverick C: AAAAHAAARGH! GYAAAHAAARAHAHAAHAHAAGARHGrgl...

The mass reformed and rearanged the parts twisting and bending the flesh, turning into a slightly larger hunter like reploid covered half in the red mass, weilding a dual buster and beam saber

Zombie: Sounding like the three individuals at the same time Hrrhrrgh... weee... liiveee...

A sudden wave of energy moved the ground, making a large hole between the fighting forces, cutting of most of the Hunters, Mavericks and humans from each other. Only a very few was still fairly close to the entity. The being, designated as #08153 observed the forces a few seconds more, before moving of into the nearby ruins, leaving the zombie slave behind for "subverstion of potential parts for self"

Getting up after being knocked out for awhile Blade pulls out two swords and cuts down the closest thing to him,luckily it was a maverick

Blade:Son of a b**** i'm gonna kill all of you!

Blade charges into battle hackig and slahing his way through every human and maverick he sees

Blade:This is kinda fun!Alright now for the heavier stuff!BLADE MASTERY!

Blade swirls around cutting down trees mavericks and humans hopping to miss hunters, he cuts down a good ammount of humans but his system overloads do to the stress and has to charge back up

Blade:Oh well I had my fun now its time to wait.

Blade jumps into a tree and watches as humans get blown away by hunters and humans blow away hunters and mavericks.

Hunter A: AAH all this fighting!

Hunter B: I know!

A strange presence feels the area, and Hunter B gets cut in half from top to bottom.

Hunter A: WHAT THE freak!?

He says that so loud that everyone turns at looks, just in time to see him get decapitated. By...nothing...it seems.

[Bloodbane]

"What the?!" Rion said, finding himself in the middle of a battlefield........ "Dammit...... another life I maybe could have saved......." He said, then saw Dray fighting both reploids and humans, and also saw a reploid get decapitated by nothing. "Get a sensor check over there! We've got a cloaker in the area!" He shouted out, as he unsheathed the Shinryu. "Damn these things....... I've had just about enough of this war....."

[EpsilonX]

A large blast explodes in front of Rion, sending him flying backwards, and almost into the giant hole in the middle of the battlefield. A blurred image can be seen running, but it slowly vanishes.

Hunter: Wha.....

Blade jumps down out of the tree onto a human

Blade:I know that blurr but I can't remeber who.Everyone be on the lookout there is an unknown maverick on the loose!

Blade runs around crushing mavericks and humans in his path trying to find Neo

"Rrgh...... All right..... where are you...." Rion said, faintly seeing a blur for the moment. "Gone again...." He said, keeping an eye out for any unknown trajectories. IF there was a bullet fired from a direction that nobody was facing, he'd know it was whoever was invisible. He charged his Geno Buster, if needed he would charge it to dual charge and let the large amount of lingering particle energy reveal the location of the reploid...... but he'd rather not risk any more teammates..... unless they were Mavericks of course.

[Nevindar]

Nevindar bust dodging plasma blast from mostly all directions and trying to keep away from the large hole

Nevindar: Oh, great... So fo- A random blast hit him and sent him flying in to another random blast, which in its turn propelled him in to a nearby hunter

Hunter A: Oh yea! Eat th-! Smack!

Hunter A: Ugh... Hey, who the hell!?

Nevindar takes no notice in the hunter and runs of dodging more random blasts, blasting a few random people that got to close. Then sprinting over to a random ruin, taking position near the entrance

The being that was left behind, closed up to a unsuspecting reploid, cutting him in half with the beam saber, the blasting another with the dual buster and dissolving a human, creating a smaller reploid like thing

Large Zombie: Parts resisting... Parts will become one with self...

Both humans, hunters and mavericks in a small group at the edge of everything was fireing at the things

Human A: God damn it! This is impossible!

Maverick B: Shut up and keep shooting!

Small Zombie: HHrhhraargh....

Hunter C: NOW!

A few hunter, humans and mavericks charged their weapons and fired a large beam that blasted the small thing into pieces, obliterating it

Hum, Hun & Mav: YEA!

And they continued fireing

Neo was about to slash a human in half as the ground seperated

Neo: He is right, we must retreat now

Hunter at Base: Attention Ranking Officer.

Neo: This is Neo, go ahead.

Hunter: Neo, you must get out of there. Our radar shows more Humans coming, enough to outnumber our Hunters and the Mavericks put together, 3 to 1.

Neo cringed at those statistics, but nodded grimly

Neo: Everyone! Fall back!

As Neo's voice rang out, the Hunters immediately retreated behind the temple, disappearing from view

Neo: Atlas, I will stay. My Hunters need the cover. You may retreat if you feel it necessary!

Neo looked at Humans, their pathetic attempts to get across the divide amusing

Atlas: Hmph. Way to back off when the going gets tough.
Mavericks! TO DEATH!

Atlas and the Mavericks jumped over the gap, and began fighting the Humans again, and Neo stood back and watched for a few seconds, the last of the Hunters leaving view

Neo: I...cant die. I cannot let Delta down...

Neo clenched his fist, and thought about grabbing the item in his pouch. He decided against it, and jumped over the gap, shooting dark energy at a group of Humans, dissolving them instantly

Blade stopped suddenly as the gap appeared he didn't jump it right away and waited for orders as neo gave to command to fall back he knew that couldn't be right.

Blade:Neo what are you doing!?We can take them if we try hard enough!Do you want me to look after the rest of the squad or help you?Right now i can do either Just don't get yourself killed ok?

Blade backed off and waited for orders hopping Neo would ask for help but deep down knew he was just as stubborn as Delta

Galeon dropped the Dividing Driver. With its energy drained, it was just dead weight. He looked over to Blade, scowling.

Galeon: "There's a difference between overcoming the odds and suicide. After what happened on the satellite, there's no way we can win."

Setting down beside Neo, Galeon looked at the mass of enemies before him. He turned back to Blade.

Galeon: "You must survive, so that others may one day take our place. Live on to ensure our future!"

Galeon turned to Neo, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Galeon: "You should go too. With Delta gone, we'll need someone to lead us."

Galeon's gaze moved back to the wave of enemies. He exhaled as his hands began to glow.

Galeon: "Lexius, I'm sorry I wasn't able to see Project G to the end with you..."

With a determined look on is face, Galeon brought his hands together as they glowed with a fierce intensity.

Galeon: HELL AND HEAVEN!!

Powerful thrusters opened up on Galeon's back, propelling him forward. He smashed through the wall of bodies, destroying everything in his path as he yelled. Even as he did so, at least twice as many enemies were attacking. Galeon took every hit, charging forward as he vanished into the sea of enemies.

Blade looked on as Galeon charged into the legion of humans and he suddenly rose and Charged forward

Blade:Galeon I'm comming too! I can stop them!Neo go back and help the hunters regroup I'll make sure Galeon comes back alive....Me however I can't garentee.

Blade charged forward with sworda drawn and started slicing through enemies along side Galeon but soon became overwhelmed by enemies but still tried pressing through but soon the sight of Blade vanished and all anyone could see were faint explosions and bodies flying through the air.

The large blurry mass reappeared behind a group of humans. It cut their heads off with ease, spraying blood in all directions. It's sword was now bloodstained, and visisble.

Hunter: There it is!

Three hunters open-fire on the blur, but a large blast of energy fired at them, totally vaporizing them. The killing spree continued, their screams drowned out by the noise of the battle.

[Bloodbane]

"We won't get far if this cloaked reploid follows us........" Rion said. If the cloaked reploid was taking out the hunters already, there was no way the remaining hunters would get to base intact if they were followed. "Bring it on.........." He said, raising his now dual-charged Geno Buster. He had to wait for the right moment, the moment the allies were clear of the blast range........

[Evochron]

Neo looked at Galeon as he charged headstrong into the legion of Humans, becoming engulfed

Neo: Galeon...you shall be commended.

Neo saw Blade run into the horde as well, but he dashed, grabbed Blade, and threw him (literally) out of the horde, and back to the temple

Neo: That was an order to leave. Now go! Rion! Ill handle the cloaked figure. Go, and lead the Hunters back to base. I will return soon.

Neo smirked at Rion, and pinpointed the bloody sword. He shot a dark energy shot directly where a person would be in conjunction with the sword, and then sprayed the surrounding area with shots as well

Neo: FACE ME!

[Nevindar]

Hiding in the ruin, Nevindar observed the commotion that went more fierce for every second thatwent by. He walk away from the hole, sitting down in a dark corner with his buster pointed at the door

Nevindar: This... Is gonna take awhile...

He picked up an energy crystal from one of his equipment bags. He looked at it for awhile, only distubed by a sudden large burst of explosions and the increase in volume made by the battle outside

Nevindar:*Sigh* He pulled a small remote camera from one of the bags and positioned it by the entrance, hiding it behind a few small rocks, then connecting it to himself. Outside something was simply mowing its way through the human forces. He also saw Neo throwing another Hunter out of the horde of humans, then turning to fire at something

Several of the remaining Humans, Mavericks and Hunters who was fighting the beign several meters away from the real battle had fallen by the hand of the infectious virus, combining human and reploid parts to create a horrid half-reploid. The ones that was still alive had evened the odds by a lot, mostly by destroying eachother when they where caught by the enemy. Only a few reploids remained standing, looking battered and scared. Some of them had already started running away from it, towards the big battle

Maverick A: HEY! Comeback here! ... Don't leave us! Damn cowards...

Hunter B: Fast, its coming closer again, use the remaining grenades!

Hunter C & Maverick D: Ok. TAKE THIS!They unprimed and threw the grenades at the half-reploids. Blowing 3 of them into pieces. But 3 still remained, including the larger one.

S Half-Reploid A: Gatherer self is pained... Attempting parts gather...

S Half-Reploid B: Parts fleeing...

L Half-Reploid: Gatherer selves, intrecept parts...! Compound self will use parts here...

Then the larger half-reploid suddenly jumped at the remaining reploids, while the smaller half-reploids shuffled after the ones running away. They had gotten fairly close to the main battle, only a few more meters

Running Hunter A: I think we lost them!

Running Hunter B: Don't stop! We need get help!

Running Maverick C: Bah! As soon as I get to my leaders, this will be nothing, compared to what will happen to them!

Running Hunter A: Heh... You really talk big.

But suddenly, one of the "Gatherers" managed to jump-grab one of the running hunters legs, pulling him down. They where now about five meters from the edge of the battle

Hunter B: Gah! Noo! NOO!! He hammered wildly while the "gatherer" crawled up on him, starting to rip his chestplate open, in an attempt to spread the virus faster. But as he pulled a large chunk of plating of his chest, the hunters core discharged, causing a large electric shock who seemed to hurt and even hamper the red bio-mass. Causing it to recoil back several centimeters. But as the core drained, the infection spread furthur

Hunter A: crap! But this might be something! Hey maverick! Help me destroy this. If it grabbs you, just run a high current of voltage through your armor!

Maverick C: What!? Are you cr- The second gatherer had fired a bio shot at the maverick, impacting on the chest plating SHIIT! A sudden sparkling followed by a large surge of electricity went through the maverick. The biomass attached shrank several centimeters, but didn't fall off

Hunter A: crap! Hold on! The hunter ran up to the maverick, grabbing his armor, diverting electricity from hise core. The bio-mass shrank even more and suddenly fell off into a smoldring pile of black-red crap

Hunter: Man... If we were able to get this sh*t of us, with our low-powered cores. I think we might have a chance now... There is no telling on how powerfull cores the more experienced hunters and mavericks for that part, have...

They fell to the ground together, Maverick out cold, but the hunter still concious. Quantum raises his right hand, morphing into his seldom used buster. bright silver with an overextending tine that arcs down in front of the muzzle, Quantum's Gamma Buster begins glowing as it charges up, undoubtedly attracting unwanted attention.

As a few stray humans was dissolved into more of the biomass, combinding with the gatherer and newformed zombie-like half-reploids. One of them, turned around, spotting a new potential parts. Speaking with distorted ragged words

Small Gatherer B: Radiation eminating from part... self investigating... combining... attempting...

A larger form also turned its attention towards Quantum, this one speech pattern shifting from male to female and back in an unerving rythm

???: Part containing un-self compunds... Dissolver self will learn... Absorb and re-create

The gatheres and the dissolver quickly shuffled towards Quantum, busters aimed directly at him, sparkeling with evil reddish energy

Quantum fires at the oncoming small 'gatherers,' engulfing them all in a field of excessively high gamma radiation.

Both the gatherers fell to the massive radiation, while the dissolver jumped away from the blast, fireing a red beam, charged with ion particels. In the beam, riding the particles, was the Bio-Technological Virus. Although the beam suddenly moved sluggish and seemed to thin a bit, while the biomass on the dissolver started to twitch a bit, as the radiation wave hit them. Both the gatherers lay on the ground, twiching, barley alive, struggeling to adapt to the radiation by mutating

Gatherer: Ghrllhhargh... Gaatheereer... Seeelf... Paaaineed... Attemptiing... Reconfigurating... Adapting...

Dissolver: Radiation is painful to selves... Part needed for learning...

Quantum jumps three feet into the air, barely dodging the red beam.

"What kind of attack is that? Ion beams are so last century tech... And radiation doesn't finish the job too quickly, huh? Crispy frying time, then."

Quantum focuses on the large dissolver as he lands a few feet from where he was, then snaps the fingers of his free hand. The air in a sphere around the dissolver seems to ignite, as the hydrogen in it spontaneously begins fusing, effectively making a small, temporary star surrounding the target.

"Burn, baby, burn."

Quantum giggles.
