-Theory-
Mod3rn is the seedy side of today, tomorrow, next Wednesday; it is everything that is wrong with the world, amplified exponentially. That's not to say that this is a noir game, far from it. Mod3rn is the back room of that grocery store, the alley with the busted streetlight, the hacker's den, the CEO's private research center. Though, don't get ahead of yourself, this is 2007, not 7002.

-Guidelines-
-Bullet-time physics will be used, so you can dodge bullets, jump across buildings et cetera
-There is no magic. There is no sorcery. There are no level five Thunder Hammers.
-Both action marks (-Falls down stairs-) or narrative explanations (He tripped, tumbling down the flight of stairs) are acceptable.
--Don't control other characters, if you are going to shoot someone, you are going to shoot them, not shoot them and hit them, it is up to the victim (and the game mechanics) to decide whether or not (s)he evades the attack.
-Each main character requires an approved background post in the "Cast" section of this forum before contributing to the current chronicle.

-Tips-
-There is no need to start out as the trenchcoat-wearing, gun-toting cool-cat that your character will become. If (s)he starts out too cool, (s)he will never get any cooler.
-Attribute character attributes (coming soon) where they make sense, not where they are low.
-Always talk to strangers.
