So then, infinite life is ok, and doesn't result in a -4 modifier?

yes, it is okayh

HOWEVER, you will not get an additional +1 for an infinite combo with infinite life.

@Yusuke,

Do you have a specific resone to limit the cardpool for the contest? (Post Extented)
I really like to see future contests being T1: "ALL CARDS AVAILABLE"
(with a ban on restricted & unglued/unhinged cards. P9 and stuff).
Heck, I don't even know what sets are in the extented at the moment.
When I thinked out a cool combo, I mad.gif HATE mad.gif looking up if the cards are 'legal' for the contest.

This seems to be for me a bit timeconsuming, spoiling the fun
and overall doesn't seem to be attractive for new deckbuilders.
WHY THE LIMIT ON THE CARDPOOL?

because im an ext fan, not a t1 or legacy fan. not many people play t1 (that i like tounge.gif) on OCTGN, where i will be testing the decks. a LOT of people play ext.

Also, did you see the results on D_B_B last contest? it was insane, and it was post rotation ext. and if you really want to check, just go on gatherer and just search extended legal. simple as that.

edit :ext will search back to urza, so search online extended, but check to see if the card is normal ext legal (e.g. entomb is legal online, banned in regular)

I agree that restrictions suck. When I hold my contests.. I just say no banned or restricted cards from any format may be used. It's easy, simple and you generally don't have to look up any cards.

also, since skewl has started for me, my articles will come in slower. just to make you all aware

I really really can not agree with you.
The clue in participating contest is making innovational decks and combo's with budget and crapcards.
Why do you think people can't be creative and original in a "all cards-environment"?! After all are rewarding the people who create something cool with more points. You are just limitting the possible combo's. That don't make any sense!
Okey, you said you though that was cool; BUT IT ISN'T!

Streetz, when do we see T1 contests form you? tounge.gif

yo dude, ummmm, the whole point of my contest isnt budget. if you want budget, go see d_b_b. im a nice guy who likes his uber rares. i dont mind if the whole deck is rares, if it works, it works. I, however, do not appreciate those combos that have seen overuse (earthcraft combos, inf life, and the like). I respect the rulings that wizo has made on bannings and restrictions, so i will go by them to the T.
