I have made some final changes to the CELIXIA set including adding about 4 equipment cards, tweaking the dual lands and updating the 'enchantment - aura' cards.

If you would like to see any changes to CELIXIA, now is your chance. Please post your thoughts on it in this forum.

....

I will tell you more about the changes tomorrow. In the meantime, review CELIXIA, which can be found here. , and let me know your final thoughts before the official CELIXIA set is complete!

Thanks in advance.

Flowing Return seems a bit undercosted, make it sorcery or cost more. For the other cards, I'm going to check on black(favorite color in magic):

Assasin's Influence seems very powerful too, Making target opponent discard two is costed at three(currently, not looking at hymn alikes), for 1 mana more making them lose life, sac a permanent and probably shuffling it back into your library...

Cranium Takh is powerful, but i guess it's still arguable, it's easy to kill and has summ sick so.

Creeping Death has to see print, i would play it right away woot.gif

Death's Reversal: you did this on purpose! i already had a card like this sad1.gif i had it costed at 3BB but no reclaim so it's fine

Deathspinner: the ultimate (expensive) hoser, i like him

Grave Takh: this would make for a nice U/B combo deck(with traumatize)

Infinity, Lawless Assasin: He's powerful, i can't see his real power without playtesting him, but he would make for a nice Draco combo.

Spastic Takh: I think you should remove the fear, he's a bomb against control. Look at raving-oni Slave or Takenuma Bleeder, the lifeloss isn't a huge drawback.

Ok the lands: You should watch out for the colored legendary lands, they are powerful, lands that sac creatures usually cost mana too, you leave it untapped, and if it would be killed or something worse, sac it for a fun effect.

It seems a very interesting set, i would like playtesting it, but my firewall blocks apprentice and friends, so MSN is the only internet way i can play.

Flowing Return is fine. I don't understand why some people call it undercosted.

Aether Clone's text should just be moved around a bit. Should be:
You may play AEther Clone any time you could play an instant.
As AEther Clone comes into play, you may choose a creature that came into play this turn. If you do, AEther Clone comes into play as copy of that creature.

Will edit this for more comments later.

Well, an unsummon that gives you drawpower too? Basically, the drawback is that your opponents draw one too. I think it would be better as a sorcery.

A cantrip Unsummon that lets your opponent draw a card. Nobody will play any sort of Unsummon at Sorcery speed. It's not going to be broken or anything at Instant.

Bluetail Zvelt should say "2 or more cards" instead of "more than 1" (Magic wording...)

Endless Thoughts could even cost 1U.

Jar says "Remind" instead of "Reclaim".

Maybe only U to return Raven Curse to hand?

Assassin's Influence is powerful.

Cranium Takh...OMFG you made it EVEN BETTER?! Perhaps 1/2 or something, at most.

Recycle the Dead is a sleeper.

Estos Combust flavour text: "it's" should be "its"......

Kragnor: Should say "gains first strike" instead of "has first strike".

Lavaglide Estos could even cost 4R.

Onslaught of Boomers: Can't you at least give it a really big Reclaim cost? Just so it's even SLIGHTLY better than Blaze?

Rings of Fire: Shouldn't it be whenever a creature blocks instead of attacks? That's more with the colour of red. And there's no need for the "and/or"...a creature can't attack and block during the same turn. Just need "or".

Stealthblade: The name seems lacking... Stealthblade sounds like some kind of descriptor. You need a noun too. Either Krilian Stealthblade or Stealthblade Assassin would work.

Stone Rain. Flavour text. Streetz, I gotta say, I never liked this flavour text at all pain.gif

Vin, Boomer Adept. I absolutely love the idea. But I'd like to make it even more interesting! Something like this:

Vin, Boomer Adept 3R

Legendary Creature - Krilian Warrior

Vin, Boomer Adept comes into play with one +1/+1 counter.
First strike.
R, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Vin, Boomer Adept: Vin, Boomer Adept deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
At end of turn, put X +1/+1 counters on Vin, Boomer Adept where X is the amount of damage Vin, Boomer Adept has dealt this turn.
0/1

He has the potential to become very big indeed, but it can be a challenge to do so.

Agar, Toch'Nar Scout: Bad experience with an Air Elemental while growing up? What's with the *5* damage?!

General note: Ambush wording: Whenever one or more creatures attacks you, if this card is in your hand, you may play it as an instant for it's Ambush cost. If you do, return it to your hand at end of combat.
Do you need to add if it's in play somewhere in that last sentence?

Ptah's Whim: Flavour text is missing a 't' at the end of 'though', I think.

Thicket Estos: 'Gains trample' instead of 'has...'

Verdiestos: I imagine some sort of infinite combo with this one. Like with Phyrexian Altar + CITP thing like Pandemonium.
Also, you better get some judges to check the wording on the card.

Legendary Lands: I agree with Mad Mat that there should be an activation cost (of perhaps one of that coloured mana) on these lands. And change the ability on Valikh, Bexnor Stronghold.

Xiosis's Portal: Perhaps shuffling your hand into your library should be part of the cost?

OK.

I have made quite a few changes based on everyone's comment above.

NOTE: Lava Storm is now Encroaching Flames... with a new picture too.

Any other comments with regard to the set?

EDIT: Stone Rain's new flavor text:

Just when you think nothing worse could happen, it rains stone.
