i am ..... saying im still around and pop in occassionaly but just really busy with work atm.
i am saying i had a good xmas though i could hardly walk after spending four hours on a horse on monday to the stables annual xmas trek through town (plus i aint ridden in six months)

I am...just reading the condolences on the Beeb for Phil O'Donnell. He collapsed on the pitch near then end of Motherwell's 5-3 win against Dundee Utd, never regained consciousness, and was pronounced dead at 5:18 local time. Only 35, leaving a wife and four children. A fine footballer, loyal servant to Motherwell, and by all accounts a top bloke to boot.

I am.... also with Sk on the condolences with the loss of Phil O'Donnell. Was a complete shock when we saw it breaking on the news. A sad time indeed, and apparently his nephew was playing in the same game so saw it all happening.

I am.... still not well, but slowly getting there. Another slight improvement today has allowed me to not just get up for more than an hour, but even think about cooking something! I missed out on Xmas dinner, and haven't eaten a proper cooked meal for a week now, so that really does feel like a step in the right direction.

I am.... wondering about my 5 things to write. I think I'll wait until the brain is a little more in gear and come back to it.

I have been thinking about the five things thing and here's what I've come up with so far:

I am incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful partner.
I am always conscious and grateful of the amazing gift in my life that
motherhood has been and continues to be (talk about opportunities for personal
growth! ).
I am increasingly devoted to students and people for that matter with disabilities
--especially those with behavioral challenges.
I am particularly fond of things that are fair and just (always a matter of
perspective, I know).
I am a huge fan of things athletic (particularly the Yankees, the 49ers, and
nearly all real football).
I am fiercely loyal (a real mama bear ) to my family and friends.
I am very grateful to have found this board cause the people on it are a
gift in my life .
I am always thinking of MJ and hoping to chat with her someday.
I am clearly unable to count to 5!

i am ***saying howdy hetane! so, my mom's side of the family is from texas, deep in the heart of. my time there was magic. i learned to sing 'north to alaska' by heart and got stung by a wasp - but since i was somewhere i shouldn't have been i couldn't make a sound. i also got the drop-dead-tired-est i've ever been in my life - hauling hay from a field hours prior to a giant rainstorm. the adventures never end in texas! and you, a cowgirl and an artist - fairly unique combo, i'd say.
