I have a 200 gallon tank (7'x2'x2') that I'm selling for $175.
I was told by the person I bought it from that it has a slow leak but I have not checked for myself.
It is an oceanic tank.
It has glass tops.
I'm also including the silicone and acetone for fixing it.
Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Japheth! I'll keep my ears open if I hear of anyone. THe guys here might be able to help you out as far as the repair goes or do you just want to sell it as is. You might put it on the www.dfwmas.com. website if you haven't alreay. Things seem to go pretty fast there. You don't have to be a member to place it for sale. I wasn't sure if you were a member or not.

Japheth, all this will be fixed as soon as we get the info trasferred over to the new place. Ocassionally we have all been thru 'not being notified'. This site just wasn't big enough to hold us. Who would have thought we would out grow it in three months. Mike and Orca know of these little nuisances and are vigorously working on them. Hang in, TR, Shirley

I'll take it, Japheth. I might as well become the home for wayward tanks.

Sounds like a good deal to me!!! Kameron is also a carpenter and he'll be able to build a custom cabinet and canopy for it.That will be an awesome set up. WHat kind of tank are you going to make it into Kameron?

I may need Kameron to build me a new canopy where I can use some MH.

Not sure, yet. That'll be big project tank #3 for me (180 stuff in the top of my shop still waiting to be assembled, 300 that needs to be resealed, and this 200). Think I'll leave the 300 out in my shop for a growout/live rock bin. 200 in the house. forget the 180 for now. Whenever you get ready, I'll build you a furniture grade stand/top.

Sounds good to me. I really only need the canopy though so I can go from PC's to MH. or would a new top make the bottom look bad? I'm not sure, I think the wood is pine and it is painted black. I hate to spend very much on it at this time since the tank is cracked and I just keep hoping that it will continue to stay in tact.

I bet you do some awesome cabinet work.

That'll be easy, then. No matching involved. I imagine I have enough scrap to get it done for you. All I'll say is I can nail wood together :D . Let me know when you get ready and I'll put it on my TO-DO list. It'll be a buddy deal. If the paint doesn't match, you can re-paint the bottom. Matching the door should be no problem.
