"Shalom, chaverim! Shalom!" Sakyo sang out in Hebrew, a song she loved so dear. It was a nice song simply saying goodbye to a friend until they met again but it sounded so beautiful to her. "Lehit ra'ot! Lehit ra'ot..." the tune grew quieter, slower as it calmed down. She swayed to it as she sat at the piano and played the notes that went along. A harmony that sounded just divine. "Shalom, chaverim! Shalom. Sha-ahlom... Shaloooom...." it came to a whisper.

Once the song was done she continued to hum the song and play it on the piano. It was stuck in her head; this was the best way to get it out. "Shalom, chaverim.... Shalom..."

Yamer stood quietly in the doorway hearing Sakyo sing. Though he didn't know what the song was about, it was comforting to him for some reason. He wondered why she hadn't spotted him yet, but figured she was just to busy singing to notice. "Your voice...is beautiful." He said softly; gather up all his courage to say that.

"W-wha...?" Sakyo stopped singing, her head turned in the direction of Yamer's voice. "Oh.. I.. I didn't realize anyone... How long were you standing there?" she sneered. Not that she had anything against Yamer but she hated that she hadn't noticed him this whole time. She would have stopped or something if she had! The thought aggravated her. Or maybe he was just being nosey? That would be worse...

Her fingers stroked a couple of the keys by accident as she turned her torso away from the piano.

Yamer smacked himself in the forehead. Nice move genius. "S-sorry Miss...haven't been here too long..." He looked at his feet and fixed his glasses, "I just wanted to know who was singing...plus..." he paused, "...Nevermind..." looking back at her he smiled nervously.

Sakyo eyed him oddly then turned back to the piano. "I just felt like playing a bit... before dinner..." she had a sick feeling and didn't really want to eat. Hopefully he would leave and she could get away with not going to dinner tonight. It just didn't seem appetizing to her... not now anyway. Everything made her feel sick.

"Oh...I see..." He fiddled his glasses more. Think Yamer, what did your sister teach you about girls? When all else fails you..."You sing really well Miss." compliment them. That was it. "The language was...Hebrew correct? Or something of the sort anyway..." He walked in and looked around a little. Never really going into this room he was curious about it. "Something about the song reminds me of my sister and brother..." He said out loud to himself mainly, still looking around.

She stared at the piano baffled, never had she expected someone to guess the language she was singing. "Yes, Hebrew... My mother," Step mother... but she's more of a mother than my mom could ever be... "taught me it... Well, she heard it one day.. and it just clicked, I suppose..." Sakyo continued to face the piano, her fingers brushing across the keys gently. She loved playing the wonderful instrument though she didn't get to learn too many songs before she was taken here.

"Good? Are you kidding me?" a scowl forming across her brow. Only her mother told her she was good, her father was gone by the time she started singing.

"Why would I be? I have no reason to lie to you..." Yamer looked at her funny. She was a different one, that's for sure. Mostly people liked it when you complimented them...right? "I may be nice to women Miss, but I would never lie to them..."

She rolled her eyes, "Men always lie... It's in their nature." Sakyo pulled at one of her curls connected to her messed up hair. It used to be beautiful crimson curls until one day she hacked the crap out of it only leaving to curls left beside each cheek while the rest was a hacked red mess. The motion reminded her why she did it in the first place... because she was mad at her father. God... how she hated what he did. Just leaving her and her mother out of nowhere. Her mother wouldn't even tell her why! The whole situation was frustrating.

"Why would you be any different from the rest of them?"

"I'm not like other men Miss. I know what it's like living with a no good, lying, drunken man in your life...it only taught me the women deserve better then them..." He paused a looked at the ground, "That mom deserved better..." Yamer quickly tried to shake off the pain in his voice.

Sakyo didn't understand what it was like to have a real mother, only her step mother. Her real mother... she hated thinking about her. She was such a horrible woman. "I hate my mother..." she blurted out without meaning to. It sounded odd cause she often mentioned how fond of her mom she was but mother meant something else. Mom was her step mom while mother was her real mother that left her to rot.

"I don't think anyone deserves more than someone else... unless the person that deserves more is compared to someone crude..." she scoffed.

"And how does that make you any different? Because you actually care what a woman thinks? Bah..." she retorted, gently stroking on the keys. Sakyo accidentally tapped some of the higher notes as the pitches hummed and faded into the air.

"Judging someone solely on their gender doesn't make you any better then them." Yamer retorted back, he was trying so hard to get his point across without getting mad. Comparing him to those drunken idiots he knew so well made him mad, he wasn't about to be called one. "Actions judge your person. Not your age, race, or sex. You wanna believe I'm a terrible person because I'm male? Fine. Be my guest." Yamer shook his head and went to the door ready to leave.

"And you want to believe I should be treated better because I'm female? Be my guest." She mocked him, stroking more of the keys. It started to sound like a very slow Silent Night mixed with some random low keys due to her hitting it for no reason in particular. She just liked the dramatic sound it created. The song just became all the more slow which made it sad. It fit how her mind was feeling.

All the talk of men only reminded of her of her father.... the reason why she was here.

"Silent night..." she sung softly to herself, all most forgetting Yamer was there. It looked like she was just ignoring him now but she was really lost in her thoughts. "Holy night..." As she continued to think of her long lost father. "All is calm..." That ran away from her and her mom years ago. "All is bright..."

Her eyes narrowed, staring at the keys. She could smell the ghastly aroma of the chicken Tarin was cooking. There was nothing she could do; not all the people in the house were vegetarians. In fact it was probably just her. She sniffed the air slightly as she continued to hum the song, trying to figure out the vegetables. Green beans... and... carrots... There was her dinner for the night. Oh goody.

"Sleep in heavenly peace..."

"Hmph, I treated you good because I figured you were a good person. Guess I was wrong..." Yamer bit his tongue, hard. Dammit, how could he let his anger slip? Fiddling his glasses he just stood there in a daze before hearing her sing. Well, guess he could stay and just not say anything. Can't argue if nothing is being said.

"Of course I'm not a good person... it's in my blood..." referring to her mother but of course he wouldn't know that. She continued to play the song, adding in more random low keys. Sakyo played it real slow and soft, letting it echo throughout the music room. She loved how dreary and depressing it sounded. How much it resembled her sorrow. Her foot tapping on the foot keys in sync with her fingers tapping down on the low white keys causing a beautiful harmony.

"Shepherds quake...." she mumbled and sang her muffled song. "At the sight...." Sakyo spaced out from her singing, engulfing herself with her own song.
