The leaves are changing which makes a perfect time for a chess tournament in Northern Michigan. TC chess's next event will take place Saturday Oct. 17th in Mesick at Greg Baileys house. The addressis104 E. Adelbert st., Mesick MI 49668.We feel this a great venue for a event and am very thankful Greg has decided to donate his time and space for this event. The details will remain the same with the structure being a 4 round swiss with a g-45 time control. Players are encouraged to bring sets and clocks but this is not mandatory. Registration will be between 9-10 and rounds will start shortly after. Also, even though uscf membership is required the top finishing unrated player will win a free one year membership.
