Well maybe it was just one of those rare days that a girl, like Dai, could not get anything right. No matter what the poor girl did, it seemed that she made no progress into the right direction that day. First of course it started with the animals, they seemed to never be able to be full and it also appeared that she could barely control the little beasts. Then came the cooking, she ended up almost setting herself on fire and everything around her, just so then she could make a meal that would honor Remus’s and Dai’s one year. And that was just the beginning of the day.
And now, instead of attempting to do more damage to the days and night, she decided that it was best that she just sit on the couch curled up with the great big dog they owned, Petite. The Great Dane seemed to be happy just lying there with her anyways, and it made it even more comfortable and relaxing to sit with him. He kept her down to earth and made sure nothing else was to happen, when Remus was not there.
Maybe married life was much more difficult than she realized.
Though, it had only been a year, it felt like it had been a century. A very nice one with a few flaws, but a century none the less. It was probably because in the times they had been together, which was that past year, Dai was refused a job at the Department of Magical creature control and she was barely living off of Remus’s funds. Sadly enough, the money for the both of them was much more that her darling husband could afford, and she hadn’t even gone shopping. Plus, the resistance seemed to be on the down low more than ever. Which meant that she couldn’t really do anything at that point to it, or even help it. She couldn’t plan anything really because they had nothing to go on, hence why they were being kept on the down low.
Amazingly this had to be one of the worst days for poor little Dai.
Running a hand through her pretty hair, she sighed and closed her eyes stroking the dog’s back pelt. If anything maybe a nap before Remus came home would be a great antidote at that point in time. It wasn’t like she had had one in awhile, and it wasn’t like she had anything else in the world to do. Really, maybe that’s was all she really needed in life. And with Petite by her side, it would probably be easier to do so.
Hopefully she could do so.
