Boggart:
At this point, Lily's greatest fear is that she will lose everything. If the rumors are true about Voldemort and is he slowly gaining power, then he is going to target muggle born witches and she is one of them. She fears that in an effort to hurt or get to her, her family and closest friends will be harmed.
Patronus:
A doe is a graceful and gentle female deer which greatly represents Lily's kind and caring nature.
Dementor:
Lily's dementor would be the day she received her Hogwarts acceptance letter. Although her parents could not be prouder, it was the day that her sister had officially declared her a freak, an outcast and disowned her. It was the day that Lily will always remember as the day that she lost her best friend and her one and only sister.
Overall Personality:
When Lily first came to Hogwarts and was being sorted by the sorting hat, she was originally considered for Ravenclaw. She is somewhat of a perfectionist when her schoolwork is involved. She strives to be the best that she can be and works hard for her good grades. Education has always been one of Lily's top priorities and always will be. She sets high standards for herself and works to reach them. If that means spending sleepless nights in the library studying or working with the most wretched person on a project, then so be it. As long as Lily gets a high grade and is the best in her class, she is content.
True friends are hard to find, but Lily is a true, loyal and trustworthy friend. Whether you need help with your homework or you just need a shoulder to cry on, Lily will always be there for you. She doesn't have a hard time meeting friends because she's not exactly shy, but she's not a social butterfly either. She has the ability to tell which friends are going to be there for her and which ones are fake. You can be sure that she'll drop any fake friends immediately because she doesn't stand for them. She will do just about anything for her close friends and that includes defending them and helping them in any way possible.
Patience is a virtue and Lily has been gifted with a lot of patience. She remains calm under stress and does not crack under pressure. She doesn't get angry easily and it takes a lot to set her off. Throughout her years at Hogwarts, there is only one person who is able to get under her skin and drive her insane. That one person is James Potter. Whenever Lily is around James, her calm nature quickly disappears and she loses control. However, over the years she has learned to keep herself under control and to find that he is somewhat decent.
Aside from being a good friend and being level headed, Lily also has some flaws. She is overly sensitive and doesn't have a strong backbone. She hesitates to defend herself and merely walks away from bullies instead of standing up to them. She also takes things too personally and things tend to hurt her more than other people.
She also has a habit of rambling when she's really nervous and she bites her lower lip when she's anxious. Lily also tugs her hair when she's unsure of something and crosses her arms over her chest when she's feeling self conscious. These are little habits that she has, but they're what make her the way she is.
>>Does It Really Matter How I Look?
Play-by: Lindsay Lohan
Hair Color: red
Eye Color: an emerald green
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 110 lbs
Distinguishing Features: fiery red hair and almond shaped green eyes
Overall Appearance:
Lily Belle...such a pretty name for such a pretty girl. Others would define Lily as brilliant, beautiful and vivacious. Like most girls in their teen years, Lily never thought herself to be anything more than pretty. When she looked in the mirror she saw light skin, a heart shaped face, green eyes and red hair. To Lily, she was just another ordinary girl - you're plain Jane if you must.
However, when others looked at Lily they saw her as strikingly beautiful. From the fiery red hair that could catch your attention a mile away to her curvacious body which had filled out nicely over the years, they didn't see one flaw except for she was a tad bit short, of course, but she couldn't help that.
The first thing that Lily was always identified with was her red hair. It could often be compared to the coloring of a tomato or a wild fire. When she was younger, it was thick, unruly and just hung around her face. However, over time she grew out her locks and they turned into luscious, loose waves. An angled cut and several layers gave it a soft look which made her stand out in a crowd.
Then her eyes...those eyes...they were the ones that haunted Severus Snape and James Potter throughout their years at Hogwarts. Her eyes have often been called a brilliant green. Her eye color changes with her mood and you can always tell what she's feeling just by looking into her eyes. She had almond shaped emerald green eyes that could stare you down when necessary.
Lily had a heart shaped face and small button nose which people often called "cute". With fair skin and a flawless complexion, Lily's freckles which were scattered across the bridge of her nose were even more visible.
As for her body, Lily was rather tiny as a child. She could crawl in and out of tiny places up until she was about twelve when the hormones did their magic. She filled out nicely in all the right places, giving her an hour glass figure and curves that any woman would die for. However, she didn't wear anything that would overexpose her body, for she believed it to be morally wrong.
When she's not wearing a pair of muggle jeans and a simple tank top, she's wearing a knee length skirt and a simple blouse. Lily never took an interest in fashion and since she was muggle born, she never really went for the whole robe look. She's always been one of those girls that could just live in a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.
>>And My History Is Like This
Hometown: Spinner's End, London
Date of Birth: January 20th, 1960
Mother: Marie Evans (stay at home mother)
Father: Charle Evans (muggle florist)
Siblings: Petunia Evans (muggle)
Extended Family: Vernon Dursley (brother in law)
Overall History:
On January 20th, 1960, during the first snowfall of the year, Charlie and Marie Evans welcomed their second daughter, Lily Evans into the world. Lily was the youngest daughter for she had an older sister named Petunia Evans. Right from the beginning, Lily and Petunia's relationship wasn't a solid one. Lily suspected Petunia of being jealous of her for since she was the baby of the family, she did get the most attention.
Lily could be described as a happy child. She was always smiling, laughing and fooling around. She would do anything to put a smile on your face or to get you to laugh. Lily looked up to her older sister with great admiration. She aspired to be like Petunia and wanted to do everything that her older sister did. She would follow her around, imitate her and look up to her as if she were the most wonderful person in the world. Unfortunately, Petunia didn't seem to appreciate this, yet found Lily's actions rather annoying.
When Lily was nine years old, she accompanied her sister down the block to a park where she met a mysterious boy who went by the name of Severus Snape. They instantly became friends and it was through Severus that Lily learned she was a witch. This was proven by her acceptance letter to Hogwarts that she received by owl when she was eleven years old. Lily's sister, Petunia, was extremely jealous, but Lily's parents couldn't be prouder. They were ecstatic to have a witch in the family, but Petunia only saw her as a freak.
Once Lily attended Hogwarts, it was as if a whole new world were being opened up to her. She learned new things and was eager to learn everything she could about this new world. Her best friend soon became Severus since he was the only one that she knew in the beginning. She was a little upset that they weren't placed in the same house in the beginning, but Lily was quick to feel right at home among the other Gryffindors.
Lily gained the reputation of being a teacher's pet and a know it all, but that didn't bother her. She was proud to be smart and she excelled in Potions, something that she boasted about to her parents often in her letters. All she wanted to do was to make everyone proud.
At the end of her fifth year, Lily noticed that Severus's attitude towards her was changing and so was their friendship. He began to be nasty to her in public, but in private it was almost as if he were a completely different person. She didn't like the sudden change in him, but she continued to be friends with him because they had such a long history with one another. She noticed that he was beginning to fall more and more into the Dark Arts which she didn't approve of. Their friendship took a turn for the worst when he first called her a Mudblood. Ever since, then she has refused to acknowledge his existence, no matter how hard he has tried to get her to speak to him. Throughout her last few years at Hogwarts, the two barely noticed one another anymore. Sure, the painful memories were there but to Lily, Severus ceased to exist.
Throughout her time at Hogwarts, Lily managed to catch the eye of a fellow Gryffindor who couldn't have been more different than her. James Potter seemed to be quite taken by her, but Lily only saw him as a air headed prick who spent way too much time admiring himself in the mirror. However, in their seventh year of Hogwarts Lily saw a different side of James...a more, mature side and decided to finally give him a chance. What did she have to lose? Apparently, her heart. After that one date with him, she was hooked and she wasn't too keen on saying it out loud, but she liked James Potter. The two started a relationship that had its ups and downs and although she had to hit him across the head a few times, the two are still going strong.

Sample Post:
Lily Evans could feel the rage bubbling up inside of her, yet she tried her best to ignore it. She cleared her throat and ran a hand through her long red hair, trying to keep her voice low so that she wouldn't wind up screaming. "Potter," she managed to choke out, slowly though. Her brilliant green eyes were narrowed intensely at the fellow Gryffindor.
James had managed to flip Severus Snape upside down and was holding him hostage a few feet above the ground. "Put him down now, this is inhumane," she said, her voice getting louder with each word.
When he simply ignored her, she tried again, her voice getting even higher, "Potter!"
Instead of James responding, Severus had snapped darkly at her. It took a moment before she realized that his harsh words were directed towards her. "I don't need your help, Mudblood."
Lily stood motionless for a second before she shrugged, trying desperately not to show any emotion by what he had just said. "No matter, I was just trying to help." She turned her back towards the boys and the small crowd that was forming. His words went right through her and peirced her heart, stinging. Although she would never admit it, she was hurt by his words.
She then heard James roar to Severus about how he shouldn't call her that and to apologize. "I don't need your help, Potter," she yelped angrily, whirling around to glare at him now. Poor James. She was angry at Severus, but she wouldn't show it, so the next best target was James.
He seemed shocked that she was angry at him now. "You're almost as bad as he is," she continued angrily, instantly regretting the words as soon as they left her mouth, but it was too late to take them back. With that, she stalked off, blinking back angry tears.
There was no way she could forgive Severus for this. For calling her a Mudblood. She knew that their friendship was changing, it had been for the past few months now but she had never expected this. For him to resort to name calling was beyond what she would have expected from him. She sighed deeply, now entering the castle. She had just lost a friend and it was all Potter's fault, she reasoned.
