Prada is an amazing young player who just had a slump year last season. The year before he walked more than he struck out, hit for a good average and stole a ton of bases. Kane hit nearly .300 last season, which is rare among 2B. Blalock has great power for a catcher, Nick Ray is the only catcher with more pop. Hashizume has great hitting vitals and has a very affordable contract. Anderson hit .300 last year and was also quite successful in Minnesota. Maggs and Gutierrez both had down seasons, even though both have been very productive in prior seasons. Gutierrez was even an MVP canidate one year. There are also some good benchies in there (Sequeira and Pucci especially). Casey can still start.

Hudson had an absolutely amazing season and was a Cy Young canidate. And don't think it was a fluke season, he also had a sub 3 ERA in Washington the year before. I doubt I'll get an offer thats good enough, but Nick Neguebauer has been one of the best starters the past two seasons and is only getting paid 2.2 million! Kirk Palmer has awesome vitals and is bound to have a big season very soon. Murphy is a former 1st round pick and is still young and under his 300k contract. Hirsch had a 1.41 ERA has a middle reliever last season and is only getting paid 400k. Ian Snell was the epitome of consistency before last season, and I fully expect he'll return to form this season.

I'm trying to rebuild because the NL Central is uber, basically. Acquiring 1st rounders is my top priority but I'll also accept real nice prospect with long contracts :) Cash is also real nice, but is no subsitute for 1st rounders and/or talented players. Same goes for 2nd rounders.

1st Rounders

Noda, Lara and maybe Cadena and 1sts can go but I would rather not trade them. Talk to me on AIM.

Colt .45 - April 18, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)
Prada had an absolute monster month (even hit 4 HRs). Palmer not so much.

OAK: Palmer would go for any 1st (I'd prefer to not trade him for the players you've listed as available).

KCR: Same with you KC, although I'd like to see if any of the previously mentioned players are available.

He's not good enough for a first in my opinion. But other picks, cash, and those players can still be traded.

Im not sure but what would you think about something like a COL16-1, Ken Gormley and possibly something else (draft pick, cash, spec not on this list etc.) for Garza and Prada

LMK if we can do something....

:(

I don't want to trade both my first rounders so unless we can't get something done like a second and another pick or something I guess we can't do anything.

Colt .45 - April 23, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
Are there any other players you like? I really want both of the 1sts

RockiesGM - April 23, 2006 07:37 PM (GMT)
Bivvins and Hirsch minorly

Colt .45 - April 23, 2006 09:26 PM (GMT)
I could add them both if I got a replacement for Bivvins. Ben Crossley?

RockiesGM - April 23, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)
It's Brady Crossley and he is a shortstop...I plan on replacing Yan with him

Colt .45 - April 23, 2006 10:03 PM (GMT)
I know he's a shortstop, but my current shortstop is a 3B who used to play short so the replacement could be either a 3B or SS. I'd also like a replacement for Prada if at all possible :)

RockiesGM - April 24, 2006 12:45 AM (GMT)
Im not even trading Crossley so I really dont see anything happening.

Colt .45 - April 24, 2006 12:53 AM (GMT)
then offer a different replacement ;)

RockiesGM - April 24, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)

No interest in Egi? He has potential

Tell me who you like...I think Juan Cerezo is a suitable replacement and check out his numbers so far this year. I would do it but my computer is broke and the one im on now is old and slow.

Colt .45 - April 24, 2006 08:04 PM (GMT)
Gormley, COL15-1, COL16-1, COL16-2 for Garza, Prada, Bivvins, and Hirsch?

RockiesGM - April 24, 2006 08:08 PM (GMT)
Anyway you can give some cash? If so I would probably do this.
