...A Charmed Universe RPG
If you were to look closely, you might catch a glimpse of magic hidden in the everyday world. Demons and witches lead secret lives amongst unsuspecting ordinary people, and angels and devils alike are everywhere. Most people live blissfully unaware of the girl next door who ritually sacrifices children, or the shy coworker who hunts monsters in his spare time. It's probably better that people don't notice the magic surrounding them. Some may think that magic looks glamorous in comparison to their own dull, difficult lives, but as they say, the grass is always greener from the other side. Magic may be a gift, but it's also a curse; life is more chaotic, alliances are fragile, enemies are everywhere, and the wicked people of the world have gotten much more wicked.
Everyone's heard of those so-called "Chamed Ones." Their feats in the face of continuous danger are legendary. Three Californian witches who caught the attention of so many demons, not to mention the Source of All Evil... Everyone knows the story of how they destroyed the Source and prevailed over evil and even lived happily ever after. It's an inspirational story to witches everywhere and a bitter cautionary tale to evil. But times are changing...
Evil never stays down for long. There's a new, more powerful Source on the rise, new evil creatures are born every day, and new powers are cropping up across the globe. This is nothing new to the inhabitants of Baton Rouge, however. Magic has always been strong there, and if there's a few new monsters, what difference does it make? This indifference, however, may be their downfall. The new Seer claims that some powerful things are going to happen in this part of Louisiana soon, and the Source is very interested. Especially in the rumors of strong new warriors of good...
When new dangers appear every day, loyalties will be tested, bonds will be formed, and alliances will be broken. And each passing day, the age-old questions will haunt the minds of more and more people: Are good and evil just words, or do they really mean something? Can demons love? Are witches truly as virtuous as they seem? Does good always prevail, or will evil triumph?
Do you
really know who's on your side?
