Mutant X Spin-Off idea.
The Mutant X idea is a cool one, and chances are that they would take a new show with a similar setting before bringing back Mutant X.
I propose a show called GenomNEXT - genomnext is a company that is created by a scientist who worked in Genomex and is deliberately making mutants using genetic engineering. However these mutants are enhanced with cybernetics which ensures their loyalty. One of them malfunctions and is sent to be 'destroyed' but escapes with the help of one of the original members of the Mutant X group. The Mutant X member shows the person that GenomNEXT has been targetting mutants for their DNA to replicate their mutations for their soldiers.

The basis of the story is the surviving members of Mutant X or someone who was in their safehouses forms an organization called GenomNext. This company uses retrogenetic engineering, in order to return mutants to normal human beings with no ill side effects.
They could originally be chasing down deadly mutants who use their powers to harm. But they could offer the choice to nondangerous mutants too. The show would be based on the show's Agents who track down dangerous mutants and deal with bringing them in or sometimes letting them go, or helping them start a whole new life or even join the GenomNEXT company as an agent.
