Attention

I thought back and forth if I shall post that or not. Now I decided to do.

Our loyal member masonkane got an answer of one of his many many emails he wrote to the powers that be, to get Mutant X back or at least, to get a final.

He forwarded this repley to me and what I've read was some kind of shock. At least that are not good news.

We won't get any kind of new eps, movie or whatever about Mutant X anymore

The reason for that:

So our fight was for nothing. All the hard work, all the emails we wrote, were for nothing. That is like a hit in the gut, I mean, they had could tell us that much much earlier instead of keeping us on the hook and let us write our fingers bloody, always in the hope that we will get a final.

But I'll tell you folks one thing. This will not change my opinion about Mutant X. I will stay a fan and I will keep enjoying the show. And maybe we can get more fans, people who will discuss about the show, the characters and so on and so forth with us.

This email may be the end of our fight, but it won't be the end for this board here. That is a promise!

Yeah I think it was better that I did, though I don't really like to destroy hopes.

Well at least in future we can spare us the email routine and the lame excuses of them. Sending us from one to the other.

I'm very very angry because Jesse told me he and Masonkane wrote letter about 6 years, and it was a waste of time .
I couldn't believe that the Fans are not important so much to say from beginning we don't make new eps about Muntant X . They destroyed hopes and a lot of work :( :( I'm very sorry for your both :(

His saying that the reason Mutant X was cancelled was due to a copyright thing is pretty thin becasue Marvel Comics made both The X Men and Mutant X. A copyright claim he say? By who? Fox? I first saw Mutant X on Fox. Another thing about Fox, Marvel first made the idea for the X-Men and Mutant X, so for Fox to tell Marvel what to do with either might make Marvel just a wee upset. So then Marvel might tell Fox to keep their hands of both the X-Men and Mutant X.

So, don't worry your pretty little heads over this minor hickup.

Well I actually believe it in between. For how long have we been fighting with exactly no result? What all have we done and others too. One Mutant X fan even printed T-Shirts and all to save Mutant X. Everything without a tiny result so I think, even if that was an excuse for why Mutant X won't get continued, I seriously doubt that the show will get revisted. No show gets revisted after such a long time. Maybe there will be a new show basing on the same story or so, but the original Mutant X show, no sorry but after thinking about it a while now, I am sure we won't get the show back. Too many time has gone by since it got cancelled.

Basically I agree with what Jess wrote. It's all done and over. Sad, but true.
Im still wrtiting to Sci Fi Channel so maybe a miracle will happen and one day they will respond.

I forgot how someone actually made t shirts to save the show.

Yeah the one who did that with the shirt told me about it a few years ago (I'm not in contact with her anymore). It is actually incredible what all had been done to save the show.

(reminds me, I want to edit the skin on my myspace page. Stupid enough that I forgot how to do :lol: )
