Title: Myst Movie
Jaime - July 7, 2004 09:19 PM (GMT)
Sorry because of my English...: I've read the 2 first books of Myst and I wonder: Why there isn't a movie bassed of all those books or about Myst in general? I don't know, but it would be a very good idea because Miller's are the best brothers I've ever known speaking about imagination and fantasy they have. So, I expect someone to do a good film.

There was talk of a Myst movie for a while, but that was a couple years ago...

That does sound like a million-dollar idea, doesn't it?
:alahmnat: :alahmnat: :alahmnat: :alahmnat: ("we want a Myst movie!!")

A movie would be nice, but I doubt hollywood would do it justice. Best case scenario would be a Indiana Jones esque discovery of D'ni

Dicemaster Slayer - October 9, 2004 04:15 PM (GMT)
uhh.. slight prob. where are we all? do we know where we all live
BTW, CF, what happened to the N/A/S/L topic?
CK9 - October 9, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
I know where I live...
we could all write it, decide who does what, and send our parts to eachother
Dicemaster Slayer - October 10, 2004 04:50 PM (GMT)
hmm, but do we know who would be the best part for each character?
i kno where i live too! i think...
cfischer83 - October 12, 2004 03:28 AM (GMT)
Myst movie isn't going to happen... not anytime soon anyway... that's fine with me, they'd probably mess it up!
Dicemaster Slayer - October 12, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
no, really?
hmm, does this mean we're done with the novel boards? mabye someone should start "to whoever read Book of Atrus" poll/topic

Dicemaster Slayer - October 14, 2004 09:15 PM (GMT)
bumped?
is that wat CK did to the "Which is Better?" poll?
Raveness - October 26, 2004 02:54 AM (GMT)
Do a Myst movie based off the first game. Now wouldn't that be extremely exciting? :eyebrow:
Dicemaster Slayer - October 26, 2004 09:24 PM (GMT)
i think a movie on riven would be cooler...
harder and a lot better graphics

yeah, not really.... now between Book of Atrus and Myst, now that could be exciting!
Dicemaster Slayer - October 28, 2004 08:48 PM (GMT)
mm, hmm... give us a little visual background, since we have followed the storyline faithfully thru the games (though i am disappointed that URU takes place hundreds of years later...)
Marina - July 10, 2005 05:14 PM (GMT)
took me by surprise that they jump around in time with the publishing sequence....
Myst, Riven, Exile, jump 200 years Uru, jump back 120 years Revelation, End of Ages...
Riven movie would be interesting... or perhaps a whole new storyline entirely, not necessarily following the games' storylines
